Dear diary,
it's finally 2019 now. I haven't written in like... 2 months at this point. Not that much happened in that span of time. Oh! I drew some fanart of Markiplier and he liked one of it! I legit started screeching when I got the notification. I also binge watched Brooklyn-99... again. I've got SPM this year now so yay. I will not apologize for the sarcasm. ... I feel like I'm avoiding the elephant in the room. Watch me continue to do that throughout the entire year just coz I can. I'm gonna stop writing here for today. That's very formal what on earth.

Closing her journal, Sarah gently placed the hardcover book on her study desk that was placed next to her bed before plopping back down onto the bed. Her eyes drifted from the journal to her ceiling. The clock on her wall read midnight, which meant that she had to go to sleep. She had school, she needed the rest. But for some reason, her eyes refused to close. Maybe it was because she just refused to go to school. She didn't want to have to see him.
Turning to her side, she reached over to the stuffed turtle that was resting on her pillow and held it close to her chest. Closing her eyes, she let the memories of the past year flood over her. She drowned herself in the images, the voices. Slowly, she drifted off into a peaceful sleep.
