I turn the Page.
Hoping you ignored what I've written.
While you stutter at the site.
Of the words that are wrote.
You pull out a Bible,
And shove it down my throat.
Calling my colors a shameful note.
Your words cutting deeper than
A double sided hook.
Then you threw the book down in a moat.
Draining the life from every letter that I wrote.
All the memories it held have all faded away.
You left it it scattered and torn.
Then turned away.
Now it's been outted for the world to explore.
While you laugh, and point
As it's discarded on the floor.
A lifeless, disowned story.
You hoped it would remain.
But I've grown past that life from yesterday.
