Prologue

Slipping on my 5sos bracelet I decided that I was ready for school, My outfit was simple. A white 5SOS logo shirt, some dark jeans and black vans. That was it, I walked, slowly and lazily to my sleek black car. Yes, I was rich, like I shower with golden water, kind of rich. I grabbed my book bag on the passenger seat that has always been there and rummaged in it for my phone.

I opened it only to be greeted by Ashton’s  - 20, 1.8m, with a nationality of American, Australian and Irish. – face covering almost the whole screen. I sighed, I was about to burst at any moment, screaming because I couldn’t put up with his face anymore. Yes, I was decked with original 5sos collectibles but I’m a carrot fan.

I closed it and revved the engine of my car and skidded out of the garage and speed-drived to my college, A.K.A 5SOSFam College. Well, that’s not really the name, it’s actually Iris Women’s Academy, but the other name fits it much more. Here, in this school a rule lies, started by none other than my friend and secretly an enemy:

Grace Smith A.K.A soon-to-be-Ashton-Irwin’s-wife

The rule is, no one is to bash, to hate, to not love 5SOS. Specially Ashton Irwin.

So, basically you could call most of my life fake. Ranging from my family to me idolizing 5sos to my so-called friends.

I skidded to a stop in front of the school and went to my reserved parking lot, yes, reserved. My mom owns this school, and my dad owns a huge restaurant hotel chain around the country.

I got out of the car and no everyone pausing or what so ever. Because in this school, I may be the richest but I wasn’t the one with most glamour.  After I went in the school everything just fast forwarded and stopped when I was walking towards Grace carrying a tray filled with top-class food that my mom personally likes. I hate it. I slid in next to grace and placed my tray down, “Hey, Guys.” I said enthusiastically but inside I was almost passing out of boredom.

“Hey! By the way, Ashton looks so hot in this picture.” Grace says, scrolling through her news feed and stopped at a picture of Ashton. I pretended to fan myself with my hand and sighed.

“Totes, Super freaking hot.” I said dramatically and they all laughed. “By the way, guys. The boys got a concert two towns across, close enough. Do you wanna come?”

“I’ve already got my ticket.” Kennedy said leaning on the table. “V.I.P” She said, dragging each letter slowly.

“Complete with a back-stage pass and all.” Candy, Kennedy’s twin said, leaning on the table like her sister.

I smirked at them. “I guess I’ll see you there.” I said, sounding authentic but actually dreading to go to that concert. After everyone informing each other the time that they would be there, and some random chat about things that randomly comes into our mind – mostly of 5SOS. The bell rang and we went on with our daily lives.

**

All throughout the day, I was spacing out, thinking how my life sucks.

I had the money, I don’t know about the looks, I got everything everyone wants. But that’s what they think. I don’t have friends, real friends who won’t dump you when they find out you’re a carrot fan.

This must be what I get from taking everything for granted back at high school.

I kicked the rock that unfortunately came across me while I was walking and put my hands in my tight jean pockets. Regretting it afterwards because it was too tight to even fit my hand.

I was currently walking alone in the school gardens. It was filled with my mom’s favorite flowers, I don’t know the name but they’re all different colors. I trailed the edges of the bush with my fingers and kept walking along the path, aiming for the wooden bench on either side of the white entry arch covered in roses. Mom and her fancy life style.

I sat down on the bench once I reached it and regretted it almost immediately, it was wet. I stood up and sighed, luckily, my mom is such a genius – put aside her life style, that she decided to make the academy’s layout a convenient one, placing a bathroom near the gardens for those emergencies.

As soon as I arrived at the bathroom that wasn’t really far away, I was not surprised to see a poster of the boys near the door. Well, no one’s around.

I should take my frustration out. I glared at the poster and ripped it off the wall, crumpling it and stepping on it after I gruffly  threw it on the floor, stepping on it afterwards.

With every step I reminded myself that it was their fault I didn’t have any real friends.

That I needed to change to fit in because of them

That I needed to leave the old me, the old Nami behind.

When I was satisfied I stood straight, placing my hands on my hips and weaved a sigh, smirking.

But I wasn’t done, I stretched my hands downward and flipped the bird towards their poster.

Now I’m done.
