own good.,,

Musutafu was a hotspot for crime.
No one truly knew why petty villains chose the city hosting the greatest hero school in Japan to cause havoc in, but did know that no crime really lasted there.
However, this late night, a certain hero couldn't keep his mind off of it as he chased down what he assumed to be a common thug.
'It's not as if there aren't heroes here,' Hawks mused to himself as he flew after the rather fleet footed purse-snatcher. Of course, he didn't worry about failing to catch the perpetrator. He knew full well that no one could outpace him so long he's in the air.
Well, except for Endeavor.
At the thought of his idol, the number one hero, he couldn't help but feel giddy. He was just so cool! And while a case could be made that Hawks was just as cool or even cooler, he just couldn't help but be excited that he, as the number two hero, was able to be around Endeavor so often.
With the thought of the Flame Hero on his mind, he decided to drop down from the skies and chase his quarry on foot. When caught the small time villain, he'd be able to brag that he was just as fast on foot as he was when flying. If word got around to Endeavor, then maybe he'd notice the young man.
'God, I sound like some sort of lovesick schoolgirl,' He briefly reflected in his mind as he gained on the hooded man he was chasing. Looking past him, Hawks saw a deadend. 'Perfect.'
He kept up his pace and soon they reached the end of their route. The villain stopped dead in his tracks, Hawks soon following suit, huffing with a smile, "You're fast, I'll give you that."
His grin, however, fell the moment the 'small time perpetrator' spoke, "A compliment from the number two hero. I'm honored."
He felt as if his jovial attitude was drained from him as he recognized the voice, "Dabi."
The League of Villains member turn around, his ebony hair hardly peeking from beneath his hood. His eyes glinted like pieces of shattered stained glass as he smirked at Hawks.
"Why are you here?" The hero questioned, his amiable attitude gone.
"Just making sure you didn't forget our agreement, number two." Was Dabi's response.
"You should get back to your base before a real hero finds you."
"Right, right." Dabi started to walk past Hawks, then paused just beyond his peripheral, "I'm going to be keeping this purse. I'm sure you can understand that the League is a little strapped for cash." The hero would hear the money inside of the purse jostle.
"Yeah... Yeah, I understand." He forced out, swallowing his disgust of his own choice.
"Great. See you around, Keigo." Dabi said. His footsteps slowly left Hawks alone in the alley.
He let out a shaky sigh, running a gloved hand through his windswept hair. This was so much weight on his shoulders. He didn't want to be a double agent. He never even wanted to be a hero at first.
But then again, it never was his choice, was it?
"Dammit..." He muttered.
"I need a drink."
