"do you hear that?"

after getting off the phone with changbin, the pair decided to leave the mall. but minho heard sniffles in his left ear.

"um no?" seungmin questioned with a confused look. minho rolled his eyes.

"you must be deaf, you can wait in the car, i'll be there in a little bit," and with that, minho walked in the direction of the little cries. leaving a dumbfounded seungmin.

as minho was walking, the cries got louder and louder. meaning he was close.

he ended up by a trash can. 'what the hell?' he looked around and found a little girl. she looks about 5 years of age. minho kneeled down next to her. "hey, what's wrong?"

the little girl looked up. her cheeks red and puffy. as were her eyes. she must've been crying for a while now. "w-who a-a-are you?" she questioned the boy and titled her head to the side. minho giggled at her confusion.

"i'm lee minho," he introduced himself. he stuck his hand out to shake with the little girl. she put her tiny hand in minho's bigger but also tiny hand. they shook hands. "what's your name?"

she took her little hand back and said, "hwang dahyun," she bit her lip. minho almost cooed at how cute she is.

"well, hwang dahyun, why are you crying?" minho asked, sitting next to dahyun. dahyun starts fiddling with her fingers and takes a deep breath. she's been taught not to talk to strangers but minho seems very nice and willing to help.

"i lost my brothers," she finally lets out. "hwang hyunjin and hwang jeongin."

and with that, minho stood up and motioned dahyun to stand up also. "don't worry, i'll help you find them. where was the last place you were with them?" minho asked while holding his hand out to dahyun.

dahyun took minho's hand and started walking. "the food court. we were getting ice cream," dahyun rubbed her eyes with her right fist. after all the crying she did, minho wouldn't be surprised that she would be tired.

minho picked dahyun up so that she is sitting on his waist. she immediately hugged minho's neck and nuzzled her face into shoulder. her eyes were slowly closing. she fell asleep. minho smiled as he headed to the food court.

he got to the food court and immediately started looking for two males, loosing their shit. i mean, you'd be loosing your shit if you lost your little sister in a mall full of hundreds of people, right?

he walked around for awhile. until he saw two boys sitting at a booth. they had their faces in their hands. minho look at the table and saw three ice cream cups. two big ones that sat in front of the boys. and a little one, which sat all alone. "that must be them," minho mumbled to himself.

he made his way towards to two boys. when he got there he stood there for a few seconds. the boys didn't notice his presence. probably because their heads were down.

"excuse me, did you guys happen to loose something or maybe someone," minho spoke. he was getting tired of holding dahyun. the little girl may not weigh anything but minho also doesn't weigh anything. he's really weak. maybe because his parents hardly feed him.

both boys quickly lifted their heads. both look younger than minho. minho swore the one with braces started to tear up.

the other boy was left speechless. he was standing up with a shocked expression. 'why does he look like that? am i that ugly?' minho thought.

the taller male quickly grabbed dahyun from minho's arms. causing her to wake up and being startled. she almost started crying when she felted lips being pressed on to her face.

she looked up and saw her eldest brother and burst into giggles. she wrapped her arms around his neck. while jumping in his arms.

her brother wrapped his arms around the little girl tightly. he stroked her hair softly while kissing the side of her head. he mumbled, "thank you, thank you god," as he did.

meanwhile, the other boy with braces that was once sitting down had stood up and hugged minho. minho was surprised at the sudden act.

he didn't know if he should hug back. he moved his arms around the boy's back but not touching him. uhm, here? he thought. should i even hug him back. if so, whe-

minho's thoughts were interrupted by the boy pulling away. he had a huge smile on his face. his braces displaying perfectly. before minho could say anything, the other had lightly tapped his nose while saying, "boop."

he pulled his finger away while giggling. but it slowly died down when he saw the others confused face. he mentally slapped himself in the face. "oh, my apologies, my name is jeongin. hwang jeongin. my older brother over there is hyunjin, also a hwang," he giggled at his own comment.

the said boy stopped showing his affection to his little sister and walked up to the two. dahyun saw who was with jeongin and beamed with happiness. as they got closer, she made begging hands towards minho, indicating that she wanted to go with him.

minho cooed, as he held out his arms for her. dahyun jumped into his arms, making minho loose his balance but quickly caught it again. minho went over to a table and stood her on it. he didn't have enough energy to carry her again.

dahyun giggled. she met minho's height as she stood on the table. she placed her hands softly on his cheeks. her hands were so small compared to his face. she gave his cheeks a little squeeze before she started planting small kisses everywhere on minho's face. saying a word between every kiss.

"thank," kiss. "you," kiss "minnie," kiss "for helping me," kiss "find my," kiss "brothers," kiss.

hyunjin and jeongin cooed and made aww noises on how cute their little sister is being.

minho and dahyun were both smiling. "you're welcome, sweetie," he gave her a huge kiss on her forehead. even though he just met this little girl, he feels attached to her already.

hyunjin went up to the two and grabbed dahyun. he turned to minho and smiled. "thank you, minnie," he teased minho, knowing that wasn't his real name. "for finding our little sister and bringing her back to us."

minho playfully rolled his eyes and smiled. "minho. and it was no problem. i love helpi-" he was cut off by the sound of his phone.

he took his phone out and saw seungmin calling. realizing that seungmin still existed, he quickly said goodbye to the three siblings and ran out of the mall.
