The Stray

(Y/n) POV:
It had been two weeks since Juan stood up to herself and men and Pyrrha has started training her after class each day except Friday. Me and my team have went to do a little team training on Saturday mornings to prepare for the tournament that is about to come soon. All the more reason to make sure that the fall doesn't happen. Ilia was concern for me since I don't have arua but a reassured her that I'll be fine and that no one will stop us. Today was a break for the semester which I started the Friday night being Gwenpool. I started with any leads of to where the white fang would strike for dust and it had lead me to a Dust shop in Vale. "Alright, let's see if I can get any information?" I said as I pulled my binoculars to look at the store when the thieves will arrive. I waited there for a good four hours and so far no one has showed up. "Ugh.... maybe this lead was a wast of time." I said to myself as I then heard some glass breaking. I quickly looked out the side of the roof to see two white fang thugs breaking into the store. "alright, let's do this." I said as I pulled out my grappling gun and I fired it to the other roof. "This is going to hurt. I can feel it." I said to myself as I jumped off and I screamed in fear as I saw the goons look up as I kicked one of them in the head and I rolled across the floor. "Ow!" I said in pain as the white fang goon ran at me with a sword which I pulled out my twin swords and deflected his sword. I swung my other sword to knock it off and once he was disarmed I quickly punched him in the face knocking him out. "That was easy." I said as I went to search the two. "Nothing!" I said in frustration. "Great! Still nothing on where they could be hiding." I quickly tied up the two goons and I ran off so that the police can handle the two. "I wish I had at least one good info of where the white fang are and where Cinder is hiding right now." I said as I reached to the docks. I sat down behind a garbage can trying to think of my next move. "You think those two finish their job?" I heard someone say as I heard footsteps. "It takes a lot of time to get the stuff to the van. We need to get to the boat while there's still night out." "Fine... which boat is ours?" "The one with the red coloring, that reads "The Serpent."" I heard the two talking and I peeked up to see two more white fang and they seem to be planning to use a boat. "This is my break." I whispered as I saw them went out to wait for backup so I used this chance to go hide on the boat to stop their plan.
Time skip
It had been two hours and I felt the boat stop and I heard footsteps moving. I peeked out of the life boat to see that we were on a huge frigate. "Time to stop some plans that they were planning." I said as I walked off the boat and I then heard running which I quickly hide behind a big crate. "This is the frigate." "It is, let's get back to the boat and wait for all the shipments to unload and then we strike." I heard them say as the entered the boat and the sailed away. "....well, snap." I said as I saw my ride leave. "Looks like I'm waiting for this shop to land." I said as I went to find a place to lay low till the ship docks.
Morning
Blake POV:
It was the start of of the break and the day the Vytal festival gets ready in Vale and Weiss has brought us to the streets of Vale. ""The Vytal Festival! Oh, this is absolutely wonderful!"" Weiss said as she raised her arms in the air. ""I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much, Weiss."" Ruby said as she frowns. ""It's kinda weirding me out..."" she adds as Weiss turns to Ruby. ""How could you not smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances! Parades! A tournament! Oh, the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breathtaking!"" She says as we continue walking. ""You really know how to take a good thing and make it sound boring."" Yang said ""Quiet, you!"" Weiss told her. ""Remind me again why we're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks?"" Yang asked her as ruby complained about the smell. ""I've heard that students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today. And, as a representative of Beacon, I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine kingdom!" Weiss said which I figured the reason to her wanting to be here. ""She wants to spy on them so she'll have the upper hand in the tournament."" I said plainly. ""You can't prove that!"" Weiss said as we then pass a Dust store with broken glass and two police officers were there. ""Robbery. Second Dust shop to be hit this week. This place is turning into a jungle."" One of the cops said "I can't believe that we found the two tied up when we got here." The other said. "Yeah, and I'm still surprise that it was two white fang members." The first one said which surprised me that the white fang were robbing a store. "Wonder what they were trying to steal?" "Who cares, it's most likely to be Dust." They said as I heard Weiss say ""Hmph! The White Fang. "What an awful bunch of degenerates!"" Which made frown. ""What's your problem?"" I asked her. ""My problem? I simply don't care for the criminally insane."" She told me which got me angry. ""The White Fang is hardly a bunch of psychopaths."" I said as I crossed my arms. ""They're a collection of misguided Faunus."" I told her. ""Misguided? They want to wipe Humanity off the face of the planet!"" She said ""So then they're very misguided. Either way, it doesn't explain why they would rob a Dust shop in the middle of downtown Vale!"" I said "Well, Those Faunus only know how to lie, cheat, and steal."" She said which is fueling my anger to what she is saying. ""That's not necessarily true..."" Yang said which made me a bit happy that there is least a few sensible people in the team. "Hey! Stop that stowaway!" I heard someone yell as we see the vigilante Gwenpool running through the docks. "Sorry! I was only on because I saw some white fang got on but they left." She said "Nice try! But we're not falling for that lie." A sailor said as she threw some sort of ball to the ground as she was running which it explodes leaving smoke to mask her retreat. "Gwenpool?!" I heard Yang say as Gwenpool passes us and I heard her say. "Hi! Team Rwby! Bye!" Rea! fast as Yang then said "How does she know us?! It's like that time when I bumped into her." "Quick! She knows something about us and the white fang!" Weiss yelled as we were now running to catch her.
Time skip
(Y/n) POV:
It had been a few hours until I finally lose Team Rwby and reached to the academy. "I can't believe I yelled out high and bye to them and also saying there Team name like they knew who I was." I thought as I entered the dormitory and I yawned. "I better get some rest and then head back to the docks to stop the white fang from stealing the cargo and hopefully finding information." I thought as I entered the halls that lead to my dorm room. ""Blake, wait! Come back!"" A voiced yelled out as I looked up only to be hit by Blake who was running. "Ow!" I yelled "I'm sorry!" I heard her say as she helped me up. "It's fine, although what's the hurry?" I asked her as she was finding to run but I quickly grabbed her arm. "Woah there girl, no need to run." I told her as looks at me with tears in her eyes. "Are.... you ok?" I asked her as she then grabs my hand and now we are moving. "I guess I'm going with." I said as we left the dormitory. "Sigh.... I better let Ilia know that I won't be there tomorrow.... again." I thought as I prepare for the next morning and trying to stay awake till Blake finds a place.
The next day
Ruby POV:
""She's been gone almost all day...." I said as me, Yang and Weiss we're walking through the streets of Vale. ""Blake's a big girl, I'm sure she can handle herself! And she's with (Y/n)." Weiss said "I'm still surprise that (Y/n) went with her." I said "It was more like she was dragged by Blake." Weiss said "Weiss, Come on. She would never drag (Y/n) for no good reason." Yang said "Would she? We all heard what she said!" Weiss said "Weiss." I said plainly. "Maybe she is, maybe she isn't. Either way, she's missing along with (Y/n), and we need to find them!"" Yang said as Weiss mumbled ""A member of the White Fang! Right underneath our noses!"" ""I just hope they're okay..." I said as we continued our search for the two.
Elsewhere
(Y/n) POV:
It was lunch time and me and Blake were at a Coffee shop which she ordered tea and I ordered milk. She had been silent all night and all morning and I was giving her space until she's ready to talk. "I can't believe this event has been change... how come Sun wasn't on the ship that I was on and why wasn't he at the statue were Blake runs into him? This universe is starting to get really different." I thought. "So, you want to know the reason why I ran last night...." Blake said as she was now ready to talk.
