(Background: 10 years after Madoka Kaname had made her wish, Kyoko, Sayaka, Homura, and Mami had been fighting wraiths: beings who absorb emotions out of people. This story follows the life of Tatsuya and weird things occurring around him)
Sunday 9:00 AM Kaname Residence
Tatsuya P.O.V.
*YAAAAAWWWWNNNN* *smack* *smack* Guess I better start the day. I made my way to the kitchen to find my mom ready for work and my day gardening "Hey Mom!" I said with a smile on my face. "Morning Tatsuya!" Said, my mom and dad. My mom had always been a hard worker, although recently she seems like she can't bring up that much confidence or enthusiasm to go to work. Dad has been trying to comfort her lately, but she just always seems tired. "Why are you just staring at me?" my mom said with a chuckle, "Oh! Sorry." I said surprised. I had always tended to space out whenever I was thinking about something. My mom walks over to me and puts her hand on my cheek, "don't worry about me." she said with a reassuring smile. "Alright, I have to get going now!" My mom kissed me and my dad on the cheek just before she left; waving goodbye as she did so. "...da-" Dad cut me off and said, "I know, I'm worried too."
Sunday 9:30 AM In the neighborhood
I decided I was going to take a walk today because I wanted to get out of the house and feel the fresh air. "Hello." Someone said behind me next to my ear. I jumped in fright, but it turned out it was only Homura Akemi. I never knew why, but Ms.Akemi had always been taking care of me. "Don't startle me like that!" I said with slight anger. She said sorry and started to ask me about how things were back at my place. I said things were ok, they could've been better, but I didn't want to worry Ms.Akemi.
Homura P.O.V.
He seems to have been doing well for himself, but something tells me that something is bothering him. Ever since Madoka had made her wish, her family had no memory of her...or so I thought. Tatsuya, although small seems to have a slight memory of Madoka's existence; I took note of Tatsuya being aware of Madoka and figured that I would keep an eye on him for Madoka. "HEEEEY, HOMURAAAA!" That loud sound could only have been made by one person. It was Sayaka Miki running up to me with something in her hand. "Hello, Sayaka, what do you need right now?" I said sort of unenthusiastically. "You know, you could at least sound a little excited to see me," Sayaka said with a weird look on her face. "Oh, Hi Tatsuya! Sayaka said with her smile "Hi Sayaka" Tatsuya said a little timidly. I asked Sayaka why she came up to me, and she said "Mami wanted me to give you this map; Mami says that the wraiths are starting to act strangely but she doesn't know why they are started to act that way. She wanted me to inform you about this." I guess she had forgotten that Tatsuya was there, but he said "What? Wraiths?" Sayaka and I looked at each other, so I said: "it's an adult thing." Tatsuya looked unsatisfied with that answer, but he just sighed and said: "alright, whatever."
3rd person perspective
Tomoe Residence: 10:00 AM (Kyoko Sakura is there with Mami Tomoe)
Kyoko Sakura and Mami Tomoe are sitting at the triangle table, examining how the wraith appearances connect to each other. Kyoko takes a sip of her tea and ate some cake and she says: "Don't you think you're thinking about it too hard?" Mami sighed, takes her eye off the map and looks at Kyoko. She says "The wraiths as of recent have been sort of circling the city in the form of a big ring, and the attacks have only been getting closer and closer, covering more of the city in the miasma. Do we really have time to relax-" Kyoko cuts her off and says "Alright, alright. Geez" Mami looks back at the map and takes a sip of her tea. She seems quite concerned about the wraiths surrounding the city all over the place. Mami says: Tonight, I want you to come to navigate the city with me and everyone else.
(Time passes, and goes from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
Tatsuya P.O.V.
7:00 PM Town Square
Homura and Sayaka had to go to Ms.Tomoe's house after our conversation, so I've just been to the shops all day. Some people from my school came by and we hung out for a while before they left. I really should head home now, I wasn't expecting to be out all day. "Maybe I just didn't want to be at home." I thought that for a bit, but then something weird happened. A giant thick fog came over. "That's weird." I thought, "The forecast didn't say that there would be fog today." I continued walking, after all a little fog never killed anyone. In retrospect maybe I should have been slightly more concerned; however, When I was was walking home I saw a couple walking down the road and the man went to go unlock the door to the house, but that was when I saw a huge monster barreling towards the lady on the sidewalk! LOOK OUT! I shouted and ran over there and I pushed her out of the way when the monster passed by and a huge gust of wind blew over trash cans. "Get off of me!" The lady shouted, hitting me with her purse. I don't know why she was angry, I just saved her! The husband came over and said "HEY PUNK! GET OFF MY WIFE" He was angry so I got off of her, put my hand up, and walked away. Could they not see it? What was that thing anyway???
