I giggle, as the guy in front of me starts playing with a strand of my hair. A solo cup rests in my hand, alcohol streaming through my veins. His hand rests on my hip, in a very suggestive manner.
"You wanna take this upstairs?" he asks, leaning in a bit.
I bite my lip and look up at his eyes. I nod my head yes, not even thinking. Before I know it, the random, but reasonably hot, stranger is taking me upstairs with him. I sloppily climb up the steps, almost losing my footing a few times. We reach the first empty bedroom he can find, and I'm just about to walk through the door when I feel another person pull me out of the way.
"Dude, what are you doing?" asks the stranger.
"She's actually a lesbian," says the person who pulled me back into the hall. "Yeah, I'm really sorry about that. There are other fish in the sea, you'll find another drunk girl to take advantage of."
"What?" I mumble. I still have absolutely no clue what's going on. I'm helped back down the stairs, and into a random bathroom. The door shuts behind me. "Turn the lights off," I whine.
"Y/N, what happened?"
I recognize that voice. My vision focuses in the dim lighting, and I make out the face in front of me.
"Oh, hi Finn," I smile.
"Who was that?"
"Who?"
"Y/N..."
"Oh... Ryan? He works at Taco Bell."
"You were going into a bedroom, alone, with Ryan from Taco Bell?" Well, it sounds bad if he puts it that way.
I laugh to myself. "Yeah..."
"Dude, he looks like he's 25."
"You look 25," I mumble.
"You're a virgin... I'm not letting you do that to yourself."
"You're a virgin," I mumble at him. What can I say, I'm pretty much the CEO of comebacks.
Finn sighs. "We need to get you home."
"Okay," I say, yawning.
I barely remember leaving the party. I actually don't think I remember it at all. Finn must have called an uber or something because he's also definitely beyond sober. But the next thing I know, I'm in my house. And already changed into my pajamas.
We're in my bedroom, a refreshing change of scenery from the cramped, noisy house party. Finn's looking through his pockets for his phone. He's having that little panic attack people have when they don't know where their phone is, but then he finds it in the side pocket of his cargo pants. Then he looks over at me for the first time in a minute,
"What?" he asks, wondering why I'm staring at him.
"Thanks for getting me home," I tell him. I step forward and throw my arms around his neck. I hug him tightly, and he hugs back.
"Thank you thank you thank you," I say, finding it super amusing for some reason.
"Yeah, it was the least I could do," he dismisses me. "Come on," he says, trying to pry me off of him, "let's get you to bed." He manages to get me to my bed, and I sit down on the mattress.
"Come on, y/n, you should try and sleep. It's almost two, I've gotta get home."
"Sleep here," I tell him.
"I can't, my parents want me home tonight. I have something tomorrow."
"Call them and say that you're staying at another friend's house," I offer, pulling him down to sit on your bed next to me, but he doesn't budge.
