Todoroki's POV
"Can I have your number?" I asked YN as we walked to lunch together with a few friends. "Why? Is it 'cause you love herrr~" Mina teased. Yeah pretty much. I thought. "No. I was going to help her with something." I said, lucky that an excuse was made that quickly. Mina pouted. "Come on! Why can't there be any romance in my class...." Mina whined.
I sat next to YN. "I'll be back. I forgot something in my locker." She said as she excused herself, leaving her lunch. I kept an eye on her lunch as Mineta somehow got a seat across from her. I found a piece of paper in my pocket and wrote something down.
Why do I have to be so shy? Why can't I ask her in person? I said, wishing I had more confidence as I asked her out on a piece of paper that had my number on it so she could reply. I put it in her lunch bag when nobody was looking.
YN came back and I continued eating. She sat down and opened her lunch with a sigh. She saw the note and grabbed it, reading it under the table.
YN's POV

I apologize that I couldn't ask you outside of a note but...would you like to go on a date with me tomorrow evening? Please reply by texting me at (XXX)-XXX-XXXX.

Todoroki's POV
My heart raced as she read it. She folded it and shoved it into her pocket with a bright blush. She grabbed her phone and typed a few numbers in and texted something. She pressed send and put her phone away.
My phone buzzed in my pocket as I pulled it out.
Can we do that tonight? I'm busy tomorrow.
I looked at her as she smiled. I nodded and texted her.
I'll pick you up at 6...?
She looked at her phone and nodded. I put my hand on her hand.
I'm so lucky.
Later after school.....(5:35)
I got out of the shower and dried off. I walked to my room after getting an undershirt and black dress pants on. I picked up my white button up and put it on, carefully buttoning it up as I adjusted the collar. I slid the black tie on and adjusted it and found the black vest that went with the outfit hanging up, sliding it on and putting the overcoat on.
I went to my dresser and ruffled my hair, trying to dry it as best as I could. After, I grabbed my cologne, spraying it on the outfit on me. I put it away and pulled my fingers through my hair again.
I put a watch on and checked the time. 5:46. I sighed, grabbed my phone after unplugging it, and got my black dress shoes on. I got to the car, started it and called YN.
"Hello?"
"Hey. I'm on my way. Don't bother bringing money. It's a date, I have it covered."
"O-Ok! I'm ready whenever!!"
"Good. See you in a few."
"Bye!!"
She hung up. I just hope I can say the words I want to say tonight. If I can't, I don't know what I'm going to do with myself?
I got to her house, parked the car on the side of the road and got out to get her. I knocked on her door, adjusting my suit, as someone opened the door.
There was a tall man standing there. He had brown spiked hair and you could tell he was probably a hero or a bodybuilder. His muscles went beyond necessary.
"Hello. I'm here for YN?" I began. "You must be that Todoroki boy she's been talking about. She's almost done. Come in! Sit down for a while!" He said. I slipped my shoes off at the door and followed her father.
"I'm sorry. I never introduced myself. I'm FN." He said, putting out a hand to shake. I stood up, grabbed his hand firmly and shook it. "It's a pleasure to meet you, sir." I said.
"Oh! Todoroki! You're here! Sorry!! After I put the first outfit on, I realized it had been stained. Sorry for the wait!" YN said, walking into the living room with us.
She wore a (favorite color) dress, had her hair up, and wore a little bit of makeup though she didn't need it. She also wore a silver necklace around her neck. I got up and walked to her. "You look stunning as always." I smiled. "Thank you, Todoroki....you don't look half bad yourself." She winked.
"Have fun, you two." FN said as we walked out of the house. "Thanks we will!" YN said as she shut the door. As soon as the door shut, she looked to me and gave a tired smile. I gave her a soft smile and put my arm out for her to take as I walked her to her seat in the car. Once she was in and adjusted, I softly shut her door and walked to the drivers seat.
"Where are we going?" She asked. "Wherever you want, Princess." I said. She was shocked at the nickname. Oh no. Was that too soon?! She blushed and mumbled a thank you.
She began to talk about a nice restaurant in a different state that she dreamed of going to later on. I'd have to remember that. She didn't care where we went so I grabbed my phone, which was hooked with the auxiliary cord and everything, and typed in directions to a nice restaurant my sister told me about.
We arrived and I got out first, rushing to her door. I opened the door, grabbed her hand and let her out of the car. "Thank you." She smiled. I nodded a response and shut her door, walking her to the front door of the restaurant.
"Todoroki!! This is way too fancy for me!" She said. "YN, nothing is too fancy for you. You should be treated like royalty." I said.
We ate and I paid, walking her back to the car.
"Thanks again, Todoroki." She said.
"No problem at all, Princess." I smiled as I drove her back home.
We got to her place. Before I got out I sat there. It's now or never. I thought anxiously.
"YN. Hold on. I need to tell you something." I began "What is it?" She asked.
"I wanted to say that...I love you. And I know you struggle with being comfortable with your body but.....I think you're beautiful either way. I know a few kids have messed up your mind in the past but.....I love you. You're beautiful. You're so kind and generous. I don't know what to say, YN. You're my princess. I just......sorry. I'm just in love with all of you." I said.
"T-Todoroki......." She stuttered.
She grabbed my hand.
"I love you too, my prince." She said before kissing my cheek.
