Your Perspective

I woke up to Frisk shaking me. I guess its time to drive her to school. Normally Toriel does it but I'm free today for reasons I shall not explain to my high school-aged sister who will tease me relentlessly for it. She started High School not long ago and I've heard integration between Humans and Monsters hand happened seamlessly. Only a couple of racists here and there but they get dealt with quickly. And plus Frisk is a celebrity cause of her freeing the monsters. Not for being my sister. That was part of the reason for our argument.

*Frisk is ready to go.

You: I get it. I get it. Let's go then.

I open the door to the car and we drive to school. I graduated here a while back. But the memories of here are . . . less than ideal. But as I was thinking, G came into my thoughts. I try to shake it off but it keeps coming back. My thoughts then turn to .  . . the possibilities the two of us have together.

*Frisk is tapping your shoulder.

You: We're almost here? Sorry, I was lost in thoughts.

*Frisk questions about Gaster.

She knows about Gaster. Damn, but she knows pretty much every monster in the underground. So that is to be expected. I tell her not to worry about it and we get out of the car. She hugs me before leaving. I see a couple of the monster teachers entering the school. I know some of them. Grillby as the Chemistry Teacher, sans as physics and Toriel as Math. I heard that Alphys was offered the job as a physics teacher but turned it down.

Gaster: Your sister is an interesting person.

You: GOD! You need to stop doing that, G. I can't deal with the stress of when you pop up out of nowhere.

Gaster chuckles lightly.

You: Before we start working on your treatment, I want to take you somewhere.

Gaster: Somewhere? Alright then. Where are we headed?

We get in the car. I want to take her into the town and take her out to brunch. She decides to take off that black coat she always wears leaving her with a turtleneck. It looks good on her. But I need these thoughts out of my mind.

You: Here we are.

Gaster: What is it?

You: It's a restaurant. You've never been to one before?

Gaster: No?

I grab her hand and take her inside. I haven't been here in a long time.

*You feel at peace at this place.

There aren't many people here so we'll probably get served quickly. Gaster takes a look at the menu. I can tell that she doesn't know what to get.

Charles: Ah! Mr. (L/N)! It is so good of you to visit us again. Oh, and you have a guest too! A pleasure to meet you, ma'am.

Gaster: A pleasure to meet you too.

Charles: The usual Mr. (L/N)?

You: Yup. A bagel sandwich.

Charles: And you, ma'am?

*Gaster ponders for a bit

Gaster: I'll have what (Y/N) is having.

Charles: Of course.

Charles leaves. Gaster and I begin to make small talk. You know, it's almost like a date. Eventually, we run out of stuff to talk about.

*awkwardness fills the air

Our food is served and we dig in. Gasters eyes light up upon taking a bite. Of course, a sandwich consisting of bacon, eggs, lettuce, tomatoes, and a bagel is gonna taste good.

You: It tastes good right?

Gaster nods and continues eating. I begin writing the check and before long we're out of the restaurant and Charles is waving goodbye.

Gaster: So. We're going to commence the treatment now then?

You: Yes. Yes, we are.

Gaster smiles and holds my hand. I'm shocked at this but I decide to leave it be.

Gaster: Then what are we waiting for?
