Chappie 22

*-3 Years Later-*

There were so many children in guild! Sting, Raijin, and Rogue had come every weekend; sometimes just Rogue when Sting was doing business. But, with Raijin, Sayuri, and Seiichi, that was already 3 kids. The toddling triplets were now 3, and Levy and Gajeel's daughter was 2. They ended up naming her Emma, and she was like a mini Gajeel! Just, without the piercings. She had black, spiky, hair in a ponytail, red eyes, and had a stern look most of the time when she was bored. But, she was very smart for her age, and was very prideful.

That's 7 kids.

Lucy and Loke had gotten together shortly after the triplets were out in the world, and they had a strawberry blonde daughter with chocolate brown eyes, about 2 years in age, named Lana.

That's 8.

Eight kids running around the guild.

"Mommy! Haru burned me!"

"Well, Aki tried to freeze me first!"

"Nu-uh!"

"Yeah-huh!"

"No!"

"Yeah!"

"No I didn't!"

Natsu and Gray sighed.

"Stop it, you two."

Gray said sternly. Gray had been taking over for a while because, now with 5 young children, Natsu hardly got a wink of sleep. They both pouted and stuck their tongues out at each other.

"Be nice to each other, okay?" Gray asked exhaustedly.

'How does Natsu do this every day?' Gray thought to himself.

"Daddy, look! It's so cool!"

He got onto his knees and looked at his youngest daughter as she tried to show him something from her hand.

"Whatcha got there, Yuki?"

"Hold on, let me try again."

She concentrated hard on her balled up fist. Before long, she showed him a light blue flame.

"See? I have magic, but I don't know what it is."

Gray looked at it closely before he shrugged.

"I don't know, but it looks pretty cool."

"I know! I don't know what it is, but it's 'mazing!"

He laughed and picked her up.

"Let's go see if Levy knows about a book of magic, yeah?"

"Okay, Daddy!"

He walked next to Levy who watched as Emma ran around with Seiichi, trying to catch Sayuri.

"Hey, Levy."

She turned and smiled.

"Hey, Gray! Hi Yuki! What can I help you with?"

"I was wondering if you had a book on magic, or knew where we could find one."

"What kind of magic are we talking?"

"I'm not sure."

He sat Yuki on the table and sat in front of her.

"Show her, Yuki."

She nodded and the blue flame ignited from her hand again. Levy looked at it for a while before her eyes widened.

"No way, I think I know what that is!"

"You do?"

"Yeah, hold on, I'll be right back."

She went toward the library and came running back with a book.

"Go ahead and go play while I talk to Levy, okay? I have a feeling this'll take a while."

"Okay!"

Levy opened the book and they both looked in it before finding the page they were looking for... After about 15 minutes. It was a very big book. Anyways, Levy pointed to it and read part of it aloud to Gray.

"Icy Flame is an incredibly rare, and now lost, magic. It lets the user manipulate bot ice and fire, sometimes the ice acting as a flame to trick opponents."

"That sounds pretty cool."

They continued to read until they heard all the kids scream. Gray, Levy, Natsu, Sting, and Rogue shot up and ran to the scene. Yuki was in devil slayer form as she glared at the kids that now grouped together in fear.

25 minutes is all it took for her to show her true magic without even knowing it.

Gray ran to her and grabbed her wrist. She glared at him and he glared back. Her glare diminished and she started to cry as her form melted away. He picked her up and the other parents told the kids that she couldn't control it, and that she didn't mean it.

"Sorry, Daddy." She whimpered. He shook his head.

"Don't be, you couldn't control it, and you didn't know you even had that. Just try not to get too upset next time, okay?"

She nodded and he rocked her. After the other kids settled down, along with Yuki, he set her down and sat with her.

"Were you mad when it happened?"

She nodded.

"What did it feel like when it did that?"

"Like it was burning my skin, and it made me only mad. I didn't know they were scared."

He stroked her hair and smiled at her.

"Well, I didn't want to do this so early, but I'll have to teach you to control your magic, okay?"

She nodded and the other two of the triplets came over and hugged her. She hugged them back, and the other kids joined in on the children's only bear hug around the, now crying, girl. The parents and other guild members sighed in relief.

"She's gonna be a strong one!" Romeo exclaimed. They all laughed and Yuki was released from the hug, letting Gray kiss her forehead and sitting in his lap as everyone began to regain their conversations.
