Chappie 25

The girls were on the train heading home. Wendy, still embarrassed from their talk last night, sat with Erza while Lucy laid Natsu's head in her lap. The train finally stopped and the girls all got off. They walked together until Lucy decided to go home, and Erza went to her place at Fairy Hills(?). Natsu held her hand out to Wendy, and she took it. Together, they walked to the guild. Once they were inside, Mira greeted them and Wendy sat to chat with her. Natsu, on the other hand, was tackled by 5 kids. Most members laughed, as some panicked for the woman's sake. Natsu just sat up with a laugh and hugged the kids in one fair sweep. After a while, the group of kids hopped off of her and she was able to get up. Gray wrapped an arm around her, kissing her forehead, and she giggled, taking Elli into her arms. 

"Gray, we need to talk." 

"Is it serious?" 

"Yeah, pretty serious." 

She grabbed his arm, not waiting for an answer, and dragged him into the hallway. 

"What's wrong, Natsu?" He asked. 

"Well, you'll know what I mean as soon as I say it... It's embarrassing."

"What is it?" "Well, Wendy was going to get me up last night for a cup of water..." 

"Ooooooooooh, nonononono!" 

"Exactly." 

"Well, uh, what... What do we do?"

 "Well, we've already had a certainly uncomfortable talk, and she seems a bit embarrassed for now, but hopefully she'll come around. And, we know next time just to have someone watch the kids." 

Gray nodded with his head down and Natsu laughed at his antics. 

"Well, I've got to talk to Gajeel and Laxus about this. I hope they don't say something stupid." 

Gray chuckled and they walked back into the main room of the guild. Gray sat with Sayuri and Yuki, while Natsu took Laxus and Gajeel into the hall. 

"What's wrong, Nat?" Laxus asked. Gajeel stood in confusion next to him and she took a deep breath. 

"Well, Wendy told me something while we were on the mission. Something that made me have to have a serious talk with her." 

"What kind of talk?" 

"What'd she say?" 

"Well, she said she got up, the night before we went on the mission, and needed me to get her a glass of water. In the process, she apparently walked in on Gray and I, and left the room without a peep. She told me she thought Gray hurt me and that's why she waited for me to go on the mission with her. I ended up having to give her the 'Talk'. Now she won't look at me." 

She admitted, putting her head down. Gajeel chuckled, turning into a laugh, and Laxus smiled at her. 

"Well, at least she told you. Also, it was right to give her that talk." 

Natsu looked up in confusion, momentarily, but then nodded.

"But, one thing I don't understand, is why you felt the need to tell us." 

"Well, I knew it's be weird if you noticed Wendy wouldn't dare look in my general direction or talk much to me without explanation. It also sounded better when I thought it over in my head..." 

Laxus laughed and Gajeel now held his stomach as he laughed. Natsu rolled her eyes and set the two of them free, and Natsu walked over to Gray. 

"Did it go as horrible as you expected?" Gray asked. Natsu smacked his shoulder and put Elli on his lap. 

"I gotta pee. Hold her for a minute." 

Gray nodded and Natsu went to the bathroom, and after about 5 minutes, they heard a string of curses being thrown around from the bathroom and Natsu came out, rubbing her temples. Gray stood up and she took Elli back into her arms, grumbling something to Gray and Yuki grabbing her hand. Natsu and the two girls then left the guild. After the doors shut, Gray let out a laugh that left in with tears in his eyes. 

"What's wrong with her?" Erza asked. 

"She took a pregnancy test and it said positive," Gray laughed out, and the other guild members joined him. After the laughter died down, everyone started to gain new conversations. Wendy shyly went over to Gray and sat next to him. 

"Where'd Natsu go, anyway?" 

"She went back home for a change of clothes for herself and Elli, since she messed her diaper." 

Wendy nodded. 

"So wait, this is the 7th kid?"

 "Yeah... She's gonna kill me."

 Wendy laughed again, and Romeo came up, silently grabbing her hand and pulling her to some corner for who knows what.
