Finding parking was a bit hard considering it was a baseball game, but it was local so they found a good spot. Kind of far from the park, but it's a good thing they all wore sneakers.
Tomas and Emma were inseparable during the walk to the stadium/park. Tomas's arm was always over her shoulder and she was staring into his eyes like they were the most interesting things in the world. As much as it made Dinah sick to her stomach, she couldn't ruin her best friends good time because Emma had a really bad break up over the school year and it really hurt her. Dinah was the one to pick her back up fix her. Dinah couldn't stand to see Emma all sad and upset. So she dealt with her pathetic boyfriends and the seven douches that has ever broke Emma's heart. Tomas seemed like such a nice guy Dinah hoped that this relationship would at least last the rest of the summer.
Now Dinah's "date" Gabriel wasn't really a talker at first but once he pulled out a flask (and drank about half of it) he warmed up to her and was a bit too close for comfort. He kept trying to put his arm around her or trying to kiss her cheek. Dinah of course pushed him off multiple times, not ever being nice. Even Tomas pulled Gabe to the side a few times to tell him to lay off Dinah. She silently prayed that Tomas and Emma made it till the new school year.
As they walked into stadium, Gabe quickly swallowed the rest of his drink and threw the flask away. They showed the security guard their tickets and they got some good seats. Row D numbers: 15, 16,17 and 18. Tomas and Emma sat closely together and Dinah sat down next to Gabe, trying not to pay attention to the reeking of his breath.
Gabe was in Dinah's chemistry class and he wasn't an ugly guy. Fiery red hair and a face full of freckles. Nice blue eyes that were a bit frantic and dulled of energy. He wore a white buttoned shirt and nice khaki pants. A bit fancy for a baseball game, but at least he didn't dress like a slacker.
Maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea if he hadn't drank so fucking much, Dinah thought.
"Hey Emma, I'm gonna head to the bathroom." Dinah said getting up.
"Kk. Have fun." Emma said absentmindedly, absorbed in Tomas. It made Dinah gag.****
Dinah made it to the row of fats food stands in the stadium and was trying to find her way to the bathroom. A hand on her shoulder made her jump and wrench away. She turned around to find out it was only Gabe.
"What the hell Gabe. You scared the shit of out me." Dinah whisper-yelled.
Gabe smiled a sloppy, obviously drunk smile.
"Sorry sugar." He slurred. Dinah rolled her eyes and walked away. Gabe grabbed her wrist.
"Dinah I know where the bathroom is." He said.
Dinah squinted at him, but sighed and followed him through the busy crowds of people.
Finally he showed her the bathroom door with the little girl on the front.
"Thanks." Dinah said only out of politeness. She was disgusted by him.
Gabe smirked and pulled Dinah closer to him.
"Get the fuck off." Dinah growled. Gabe leaned to kiss her and Dinah swung her hand, slapping his face. Gabe fell backwards a little and Dinah grabbed the handle of the bathroom door. She turned it, but Gabe grabbed her and yanked her away. If she didn't resist his pull she could've dislocated her arm by his force. Gabe pushed her back against the wall and pinned her there. Gabe breathed in her ear.
"Please stop Gabe. Please." Dinah pleaded. A lump rising in her throat.
Gabe grabbed the first button of her shirt and started to undo it. Dinah pushed against him, but he shoved her head back and it cracked against the wall. Dinah saw stars.Gabe was halfway down her shirt when Dinah screamed loudly for help. Tears came down her face.
"Shut up. No ones going to help you. No one cares." Gabe laughed. He kissed her neck and her jaw. He grabbed her hair and pulled. His mouth was sloppy and rank. Dinah raised her leg to kick him.
"Bitch." Gabe sweared. He put one hand under her jaw and held her forcefully."You will regret that." He said.
Gabe teared the rest of Dinah's shirt, exposing her brad. He grabbed her breast and started rubbing it. Dinah cried and was paralyzed with possibilities of what could happen. She could get rapped in a baseball stadium and no one would care. She was useless and alone and frightened.
Then she saw a tall body rise up from behind Gabe.
