She got on her knees and pulled me into a hug. I'm not going to lie this was the first time I ever felt loved by someone. So this is what a hug feels like huh? It feels so nice and warm. I could honestly stay in this position for the rest of my life and never move again.

I then heard Shinonono begin crying a bit into my shoulder while rubbing my back.

Tabane: "I-I'm so sorry"

(Present)

I couldn't help but feel bad for everything I said to her so I hugged her back.
I guess hugging her back made her feel happy because then she started acting childish again and shoved my face in between her breasts, almost suffocating me.

She then broke away from the hug and stood me up on my feet.

Tabane: If you have any questions go ahead and ask as many as you'd like.

Y/N: okay.. for starters why do you have robotic fox ears on your head you weirdo?
(I said to try and lighten up the mood a bit)

She then pouted and said

Tabane: I made It my self you meany

Then I got serious again

Y/N: ok now on a serious note, what exactly did you do to me? I thought I was dead? And how did you give me a new bionic hand and arm? How did you even find me in the first place?

Tabane: I thought you'd never ask. So basically I fused your body with the core of an IS so you are technically Half Human Half IS. For instance when you woke up, a bright red light should have shined which is just the IS's way of recognizing you as the one in control.
If I hadn't merged your body with the IS core you wouldn't be alive right now. But don't worry you still look like a normal human besides the the bionic hand and arm I gave you. I also noticed during my tests on your body that you have almost super human strength, reflexes, and intelligence hence why you are so smart for a 10 year old.

Y/N: so that's what those bastards have been doing to me for the last couple of years.

She pulled you into a hug again but quickly broke away which made you feel upset because you wanted to enjoy the warmth of her hugs

Y/N: Anyway... what in the world is an IS?

Tabane: Infinite Stratos, Abbreviated as IS, they are powered exoskeletons, which were originally meant for outer space exploration. Designed by yours truly... Tabane the Genius , they posses technology and combat capabilities far more advanced than any other weapon system. They come in closed forms like a bracelet, earrings or a necklace but since you and the IS are fused together, you are the closed form of your IS. To summon your IS all you have to do is just call for it and it will assemble on you. Also every IS has a unique name and since it's part of you, I'd recommend you be a little creative.

Y/N: How could I give a name to something if I myself don't even have a name.

I instantly regretted saying this because Tabane's face  lit up as soon as I said it.

Tabane: What about Y/N, L/N? How does that name sound?

I actually liked the name so it made me smile a bit.

Tabane: I'll take that smile  as a yes. Oh and if I remember earlier you said you were homeless so just live with me until your old enough to go to the IS academy.

Y/N:  An IS academy?

Tabane: Boy do you have a lot to learn
(she said giggling like a child does)

She then showed me a room where I was supposed to sleep in, But I have this fear that somebody is going to kidnap me and do experiments on me again while I'm sleeping so she said I could just share a bed with her since it's a king sized bed.

~Timeskip: Few hours later~

After learning more about the IS and how to do normal human activities that I never was taught like showering, getting dressed, brushing my teeth and more stuff like that that It was time to go to sleep and I was pumped because this is going to be my first time ever sleeping in a comfy bed plus tomorrow she said she'd teach me how to operate my IS and what not.

Since I didn't have any clothes she just gave me one of her long sleeve shirts that was pretty big on me considering I was only 10 years old. But I was comfortable nonetheless. I know I've only known her for a day and all but she feels like the family I've never had. Almost like a big sister.

Before I began drifting off to sleep she gave me a hug and assured me that no one is going to come and get me in my sleep then turned the light off. I couldn't help but snuggle close to her because I love feeling the warmth of someone else, it's a feeling I never got to experience before.

I honestly feel So overwhelmed, It's crazy how much my life had changed in just a day. One day I'm being tortured and the next I'm living a normal life... well almost normal, And with that thought I was consumed by my tiredness.
