accidental hybrid: chapter 79

jamie didnt even try to pull away but even as i injected him with vampire venom, claire screamed at me to stop. i had to inject him with to much venom so it would kill him but if i let go of him to early he would just change. my teeth clamped on his throat like a hungry shark.

" stop it, your killing him !" claire shouted. er, that was the idea. didnt she hear what i had said only a couple of minuetes ago ? just a bit longer now and he would be paralized...dead even. vampire venom was like a pain killer. it numbed you as it it worms through your blood stream. soon enough, jamie would be so paralized that his heart would end up stopping and even before the numbness weres of, his heart would ave stopped for to long.

i heard claire move but i didnt know where or why until i felt a sharp pain in the back of my head. i let go of jamie's neck and fell to the floor, blood spilling every where. jamie fell to the floor half dead. claire ran over to him, tears running down her face and pulling of her foundiation with them. she put pressure on his neck to try and stop the blood from squrting out any more. i laughed. he was going to die either way. either of blood loss or a vampire venom over dose. but i had a feeling that i might not have injected him enough.

i got up and ran back at jamie in unhuman speed. claire yellped as i knocked her suddenly. but even before i managed to touch jamie's neck, claire wacked me around the head with a pieace of wood. my ears rang loudly. " keep away from him you mosnter !" claire shouted. i had walked into the living room as i tried to clear my ears of the dreadful ringing, leaving claire and the almost dead jamie in the bedroom. claire noticed and slammed the door in my face before i managed to get inside. i stopped just in time before the door hit my nose. i heard the lock click into place as claire tried to stop me from getting at jamie again.

" claire, did you not hear anything i told you?...i need to kill him before to many people die because of him" i said. i slid down and rested my self against the closed bedroom door hoping the wood wasnt to thick so claire could here me. i heard her crying as she carried on trying to stop jamie from bleeding. " look claire...i'm sorry, i..i just dont want to lose tyson and anything threating his or my life, well i'll kill them when i have the chance and chances like these dont come very often" i said. i felt like i was talking to myself, but i heard claire's sobs calm down a little. " yes but you dont realize how close me and jamie were, it feels like you've killed me to" she sobbed. " you could have done something else to stop him from changing...like...like make him come and live with you so he dosnt change to a vampire" she cried. i sighed, my breathe stroking against the smooth wood of the door. "yh, that would be a good idea but it would mean he would have got closer to me and becuase he dosnt live in my world he would do anything to get in it" i siad.

it was silent other than the slow, quiet sobs from claire and the buzzing of the traffic out the closed windows. claire didnt say anything but i heard that she had stopped fidiling with jamie. then i heard her spluttering. like she was chocking on water or something. worridly, i started banging on the door. " claire ! claire....whats wrong !" i screamed. there was nothing. " its not me...its...its jamie" claire said. i felt my eyes grow wide. " claire, claire ! get out of there now....." i screamed " claire !" i screamed. my voice had gone really high as i shouted her. " why?" claire asked softly.

" because he's turning to a vampire, claire...i didntinject enough venom and a new born vampire will feed of any one they first seee, like there in some sort of frenzy !" i shouted. " but jamie wont hurt me, he knows me" claire said. " claire..it dont matter who you are, he just cares what you are and your full of blood....and thats the only thing he's going to want and care about....so get out of there now !" i screaned. i started banging on the bedroom door again. jamie continued to cough up blood as he changed. i almost fell over as the bedroom door unlocked and opened. claire stepped out and shut the door behind her. she used her hotel cared to lock the bedroom door shut again. her eyes were red and wet. and she looked so heart broken. " i'm sorry...please forgive me" i said. she nodded. " its ok and so its you who changes him then" she sobbed a little. " what?" i said. " changing him into a vampire, i mean he is a vampire in your vision isnt he?" claire asked. oh shit, my vision ! " yh he is and i canrt believe it is me who changes him."

then suddenly we heard jamie get up. " claire, we have to run....now" i said.
