(Don't) Wake me up! [Niall Horan]

10. Hotel hall

-Danielle’s POV-

As I got out of his car I was so embarrassed. Why the hell did I do that? Now he probably thinks that I’m weird. As if I haven’t been weird around him this whole day.

As I got to the door of the hotel I turned around to see him waiting for me to go inside. I waved him and sent him a smile as he did the same. I turn around and push the door but it won’t open. And of course I did it again… I pushed the door that I should’ve pulled. Once again I looked like an idiot.

I finally got in and right away I met with this middle aged lady that worked here on the reception. She smiled widely and greeted me. I did the same and continued to the elevator. I pushed the button and waited for it. I heard some quiet ‘ding’ which signalized that it was on my floor and the door will now open. Right away I got in and pressed the button with number two.

Their music choice is horrible. Like they don’t even know what music is. I just couldn’t wait to get out of this elevator.

I heard another ‘ding’ and I rushed out as fast as I could. At once the floor started spinning, the hall was getting smaller and again with a horrible head ache I heard one loud scream and those voices.

I fell down on my knees and grabbed my head.

‘What’s happening?’

‘You said that nothing will happen?’

‘Just stay strong… please?’

‘Why is this happening?’

‘How can this happen?’

‘Don’t go now!’

All of those voices… are the same every fucking time and I can’t remember whom they are.

I can’t hear anything around me… just what’s inside my head and that scares me.

At once I feel someone’s hands around my waist…

-Niall's POV-

 As she got to the front of the hotel. She bumped into the door. Apparently she pushed the door that says it has to be pulled. I know I’m a terrible person, but I laughed at that.

When she got in I started the engine.

‘But, no.

I can’t go now’

So right away I turned it off. I got out of the car and headed to the entrance of the hotel that. As I walked in there was this middle-aged woman with a warm smile beside the reception table. She greeted me with a warm smile. I just continued past her because I saw Dani in front of me so I don’t really have to ask her for the room number.

By the time I got to the elevator she already got in. So I guess I have to wait for her to get to her floor. Good thing that this elevator shows on which floor is right now.

As I was waiting I realized that people are staring at me. And how could I forget that I’m in a full hotel without any disguise.

Well I didn’t need it whole day with Dani so that made me forget about it.

I saw that the number on the elevator was not moving anymore so I pushed the button and trough few minutes I heard the sign that it is here.

The door opened, and I got in. God they don’t know what music is.

I pushed the button for second floor and waited. Finally I got out of the elevator.

I looked right and nobody was there. I looked left and…

What the hell? Is that Dani on the floor? Is she okay?

I ran to her as fast as I could and I grabbed her by her waist. I tried to pull her up but she was weak, so I sat on the floor and pulled her onto my lap. She had her eyes closed with a grin on her face and was holding her head. I hugged her.

“What’s wrong? Are you okay?” I asked her with concerned and weak voice. I tried not to panic, but I can never handle situations like this.

After few minutes she looked at me with glossy eyes and nodded, not really convincing me

For few more minutes we were sitting like that without any word said.

Finally I heard her voice “How did you get here? I thought you went to your hotel?”

She was obviously trying to act like nothing happened.

“I had something to say to you, but it doesn’t matter. What happened to you?” I was looking directly into her eyes until she looked away on my question.

“Nothing, just a head ache. So what was that you wanted to tell me?”

“I’ll tell you later. Do you want me to take you to the doctors or go and buy some medicine?” I was still panicked, but she was so calmed, like this happened before.

“No, you don’t have to, I’m just probably exhausted.” She smiled at me weakly.  “Now please tell me!”

She’s trying so hard to get off of this topic, so I let her. I see that there is something more, but I can wait. I mean I only know her for two days. When she’s ready to tell me, I know she will.

“Umm… actually I forgot what I wanted to say.” I looked away with and awkward smile, because it was true. I can’t remember why I went in after her. I felt I got red in my cheeks.

She just laughed and hugged me. I really needed that right now. So I hugged her back.

“I’m glad you came after me.” She said quietly into my chest.

“I’m glad too.” That’s when some older man walked beside us and, I don’t know if that was on purpose or not, but he hit me with his crutch. “Hey!” I said but only loud enough for me and Dani to hear it.

She giggled and looked at me with a puzzled face.

“That man just hit me with his crutch.” I showed her with my head. She turned around to see him and started laughing. “Don’t laugh, now I’ll have a bruise on that spot.” Of course I won’t but I wanted to keep that smile on her face, and I made a puppy face.

“I think we should get up before someone else comes.” She said trough laughter.

She hoped up from my lap and I stood up quiet quickly.

“You want to come in?” I was lost and forgot that we were near her hotel room.

“What?” I was so confused. She just laughed.

“C’mon.” She grabbed my wrist and pulled me into the room.

“Ohh… right.” That was so embarrassing. She kept laughing, but at once stopped. “What’s wr…”

I looked at her and she was showing me to be quiet with one hand and with another she showed to the bed where her friend was sleeping. I totally forgot about her. I went near Dani and hugged her tight and whispered “I love you.”
