In love with Kim Minseok

The Change

" Dammit Yuna!!! We are going to be late!!" Minseok yelled at me while we were running. I accidentally woke up late (again).

Today is our first day of high school and I made us late. " I apoligize for being late!!" Minseok yelled as he opened the door. He pushed my head down and bowed. " Your punishment is to clean the class after school" the teacher said with a sigh.

Once lunch came, my friend from junior high grabbed my hand and took me to the back of the school. " So, are you two going out yet?" she asked. I sighed and answered, " You already know that I don't even like him like that".  My friend shrugged her shoulders, and sighed with disspointment. She then smiled and said, " He's actually become really attractive lately. Will you mind if I asked him out?" . I completely ignored what she said and act like I was in a hurry to do something.

I ran upstairs to the roof when I suddenly bumped into someone and fell downstairs. Then I suddenly blacked out.

"...na....Yuna...". Once I opened my eyes, I saw Minseok and immediately hugged him and saw that I was in the infirmary. " Yuna?" He asked. " Thank Goodness you're okay!" I said happily with relief. " What happen?" I asked. " Well I'm not sure myself. I was walking down the stairs, and then you suddenly ran into me and we fell.", He replied. I sat there laughing like an idiot. He lied down next to me on the bed. " Young lady, you should thank your boyfriend. He ran in here carrying you and was paniking and asking if you were okay.", the nurse explained. I blushed and looked away. " Oh, we're not dating" the both of us said. We looked at eachother for a moment , and then quickly looked away. I was confused at why his face was also red. Does he feel the same way I do? The nurse laughed, " My apologies. " she said as she walked out.

I quickly sat up and felt a sharp pain. Minseok pulled me and carried me on his back. " School has already ended, and how did you not notice that you had a fever? " he asked. I rested my head on his neck, " I was too happy about my first day of     highschool. .....wait...what about our punishment for being late?" . He told me that he had already told the teacher that they will do it tomorrow.

Minseok has gotten more attractive over the summer. Though he still had his chubby cheeks. When we got to my house, he gently put me down.  " Thank You..........Are you using a new shampoo? ", I asked. He shrugged his shoulders. " I like it", I told him with a smile. As he waved goodbye, I closed the door. Minseok and I found out after junior high graduation, that we lived right next door from eachother. Sometimes he would knock on my window or climb into my room. Yes, our homes were really close to each other.

Minseok's Point of View:

At lunch, my friend asked me if he can ask Yuna out. " Well can I? I've always liked her since 8th grade." He asked me. I looked at the school campus and leaned against the railing. " Sorry, but that crazy girl is mine. ", I said with a serious face. My friend then walked out, " I won't give up that easily." he said on the way out.

After showering, I jumped on my bed and looked at Yuna's room. I saw her sleeping on her desk with her homework. I quickly climbed into her room and carried her to her bed. Yuna's face was all flushed from her fever and her breathing was heavy. This was my first time seeing her look so weak and helpless. Her parents are never home because they work overseas but they still send her money for food.

I closed my window and crawled back into her room sleeping right next to her and hugging her.

Yuna's Point of view:

What is this warm feeling? I began hearing Minseok's voice in my head. When I slowly opened my eyes, I woke up feeling Minseok's lips on mine. I yelled so loud that Minseok fell off the bed. I covered my face in embarassment. " Goodmorning?" He asked. " Why'd you kiss me!?" I yelled. He sat on the ground frozen, and yelled at me with a face so red that he looked like a tomato, " This wouldn't have happened if your ugly self didn't look so cute when sleeping!!". Things got awkward after my stomache growled loudly.

He quickly got up, " I'll make us something to eat, hurry up and get ready for school." he ordered me. Afterwards I walked downstairs and entered a kitchen with a dining table full of food. " Where'd you find all of this!?" I asked. He smiled and handed me coffee he made. " Well, I just took things from my house and brought it here. " he replied.

I took a small sip of his coffee and quickly made an ugly face. " Black coffee?" I asked while sticking my tongue out. Minseok relaxingly drank the coffee, " It's good for your body " he said. He gave me a look which obviously meant, " You better drink all of it". I sighed and drank the whole cup while covering my nose. Afterwards I ate all of the delicious food he made ( to get rid of the bitter taste ).

Minseok held my hand while walking to school. " Has you hair grew longer?" he asked me. " I guess it has. Maybe I should go cut it?" I replied. He gently touched my hair, " Don't cut it. You look better with long hair.". I automatically blushed. " If you cut you hair short, it will make your face look fat.", he continued his sentence. I smacked his head and walked in front of him. He carried me and ran to school. " I didn't even notice that we were already late!?" He yelled. As I held onto him, I noticed that he was really strong.

When class started, the teacher announced that all first years will be going on a field trip, next weekend on Saturday. I guess that this school has many field trips for us students. There's even a overnight trip and a trip to the beach. I sat there excited. " You look happy? " a guy asked. " Of course I am. I love field trips. " I said with a big smile wondering if I looked stupid or not. Minseok looked at me with a grin on his face. I looked away once I remembered his confession this morning.

I leaned back on my seat and groaned like an old man, " Finally it's lunch!!" I said so loud that everyone laughed. " Yuna you sound like an old man!" one of my classmates yelled. Hyorin, my classmate that sits behind me, sat in the seat in front of me and looked into my eyes. " Are you full korean? " she asked me. Minseok then interrupted me and sat on my desk, " Her mother is american and her father is korean." Everyone surrounded us and started staring at me. Guys started looking into my eyes to stare at the color. " Wow, you have beautiful eyes. They have a sparkle to them. Is it green? " a guy said. Minseok looked mad and covered my eyes and then walked me out of the class.

" Fatty, I can't see" I told him as I tried to remove his hands from my eyes. He leaned me against the wall and I felt something soft touching my lips. Then he begin moving his lips. I didn't know what to do. I felt his lips slowly move down to my neck. When he gently blew on it, I fell to my knees. " Don't let other guys touch or look at you " he kissed my forehead and walked away with a grin. "What in the world just happened? " I asked myself.

When school ended, the two of us cleaned the classroom. I kept my distance because I was still embarassed. " Are you going strait home?" He asked, while cleaning the white board. " No, I have to go to the store to get some things. " I replied. We silently cleaned the class. When I scraped the last gum under the desk, I sighed. We both parted our ways afterwards.

Good thing he didn't asked what I was going to buy. It was almost March 26, which was his birthday. We've always celebrated it together because both of our parents are rarely home. But of course my parents still mail me presents from all over the world and call me everyday.

While walking around it began to get dark really fast. After I bought my items, I walked back home and saw a big fire next to my house. I stood there frozen looking at Minseok's house that was on fire. "There's still someone in there!! " a child yelled. The kid tugged on my shirt, " Noona ( older sister ), please go help Hyung (Older brother)" he cried.

I quickly hugged the kid and ran into the house. The fire was not that bad yet. I grabbed some of the family portraits that were in his house and quickly went to go look for him. I walked to his room where I saw him unconscious.  I quickly grabbed him and ran out of the house. A dog sudden ran to Minseok and began licking him. Before I could do anything or say anything else, I blacked out.
