Chapter 3 A New Start

Carol is happy to have a new start

This is going to be a new episode of her life

She wants it to be a happy episode

She is waiting for Rachel to come she is happy to meet her old friend

At the same time He is feeling somewhat different like something is different but he still believe that his mate is dead he don't want to have some false hope

Because he felt her pain during her death so he don't know what this feeling is...

What is happening to him

Various thoughts like "Am I going to die very soon and meet my mate. Is that why i am feeling this happiness "

He doesn't know what what he is thinking he is fully confused

At that time Oliver his brother  along  with his mate lexie knock the door

He gave them permission to  enter

He love his brother  but he doesn't  have mental  strength  to share his brother's happiness  when he finds  his mate he  couldn't  find his lost mate he is envious  of him

And also for some reason he does not like lexie.  She is a human her father  is working  in this company for  very  long time  but he didn't know of the  werewolf  world.

Lexie come to office along with her father from her childhood  days so technically  they are all friends.

When he was searching for Carol she used to hit on him

One day when Hagon  is  18 she said  that she likes him and want to become his girlfriend

But Hagon  doesn't  like lexie even as a friend only Oliver used to hangout with her so he cut her off by saying that  he already has a girlfriend and says that he doesn't like her

That made her unhappy and she stormed out of the place

Hagon  doesn't  mind  her at all he has lots of things  to take care of  he wants to search for his mate and he was crowned  as a king 2 months back and wants to do his duties  without any problems

Next week  when Oliver  turned  16 he found that lexie  was his mate.  Oliver doesn't  know  about  her   confession to his brother he innocently  accepted her as his mate.

Only kings can find their mate at any time others can find their mate only at 16 even though they are alpha bloodlines

It's been  7 years but Oliver still  doesn't  find her as attractive  as other wolf find their mate he is still  hesitant to mark and mate her he is still  skipping time but she is  compelling  him to mark her

He uses his brother as a excuse now that she found about werewolf world he doesn't have to lie to her.

Today he went into  Hagon's room  to discuss  about  her work  since Hagon  doesn't  allow  any female  inside  his room without  company of any of his beta because  of the curse that goes through their  family.

This goes  with all the king. No king allows female into their room. without their  beta

"Hagon" she started Oliver nudged  her with his elbow " Sorry president" she corrected, Hagon clenched his fist with anger for her disrespect but she didn't  mind it and continued "I want to fire the elderly  janitors and hire young ones since the elderly  persons  are useless  and slow they are money eaters".

But Hagon is not heartless  like her he doesn't  fire anybody  because  of their age even  if they are aged and cannot  do hard work  he will  make them  do what they are able to.

So on hearing this  his anger grow to the point  that he couldn't  control  his beast

Lexie just  took over the position of maintenance head and she is doing  such drastic  change on her own

Even Oliver was shocked at her decision she knows that King's enterprise  doesn't  fire anyone unless they  commit some unforgivable  crime or they ask to be resigned if he knows that she is  going to talk about  this he wouldn't  have brought her inside Hagon's office

Hagon  gave her a warning  glare and told  her to memorise the rules of kings and asked her to act  accordingly  and  warned her not to fire anybody  but  allowed her to hire some extra people to  help them.

After they both left the office  Hagon's  mind again  drifted towards her mate.

Is she waiting for him in the heaven

When will he meet her.
Will she recognise him.

He is not at all afraid of death but he is afraid of living in pain.

He had to train somebody  else as the king before his departure. He knows that Oliver will be a good  king but lexie is not a good luna she definitely cannot  handle a position of queen but mates are moon goddess gift they cannot deny them  or change them so he cannot ask Oliver to be king of supernatural after him.

So he is still  waiting for a solution this is his sole reason  he is still  alive.

He is waiting  for his new start which is after death

Days goes by

Its been one week already 

Today Rachel  came to visit her grandma after 6 months

But when she reach home she found a unfamiliar figure open the door she got startled but soon she heard her grandma's voice from behind to get in.

She ran to her grandmother and hugged her tightly she is seeing her after a very long time after 6 or 7 month.

She feels like someone looking at her so she slowly turned towards carol asking her grandmother who she is.

Her grandmother explained her everything about carol and how she escaped her evil stepmother and how she needed a place where she can avoid their eyes.

Rachel couldn't remember carol because she is only 4 at that time.

But she felt some attachment towards her she thought that is because of her friendship but it's only partially right

They become quite attached like sisters very soon

Two days went by very quickly it's time for them to head towards work

Grandma called carol inside her room she gave her a small box

Carol opened the box and saw her strawberry hair clip inside it

It was her father's last gift she cried seeing that hair clip she remembered that day again.

Grandma hugged and consoled her.

"Carol" she started " on that day your father said that he will go to forest with you and come back within half an hour but he didn't come back eventhough it's half a day so I thought of searching for you until evening I couldn't find you or your father I can only find this so I kept it to give it back to you when you come back. But I don't know you lost your father that day and kept locked up.

I should have searched you earlier then I might have saved you from them" she sighed

"Or you might have lost your life and both me and Rachel both have become orphan atleast now we have you. They are very cruel people" she said gratefully and disgusted by her stepmother

"Now you have to get ready pack all the cloths I got you yesterday. It's going to be a long journey" she patted her back went back to pack food for them

By staying with grandma for one week she learnt some basic cleaning but she still can't cook.

She is going towards her new start she wants it to be a happy one will it be a happy one for her.....
