Athens P.O.V

Hi my names Athena Rodriguez I'm 15 turning 16 in 2 days. I have light brown hair that goes a little bit passed my shoulders. I go to black bear high school yea I know weird name for a school but that's because only werewolves are allowed to go there. Yes I am a werewolf but I haven't shifted. I have a big brother his name is Damon he's 17 years old, I also have a little sister her name is Celeste she's 4 years old i live with them and Zander my brothers friend.My parents died when I was 14 they had a car accedent. Other then that I have had a good life cause my pack helped me when I needed it. Well that's pretty much me nothing special other then being inhuman but that's normal were I come from.

Ughhh!!! I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock telling me I have school... Why did we have to go to school?!?! As you can tell I hate getting up early. I get up out my bed and make my way to my bathroom and take a shower. When I'm done with that I go to my closet and get my underwear and bra from Victorias secret for clothes I get out my black crop, denim hi wasted shorts,a cardigan with blue birds on it, and for shoes I get my black flats. When I'm done I go the bathroom and brush my teeth. I run down stairs and see my brother, his mate Emily,and his friend Zander talking.

"Heyy. Emily I don't need a ride today Drew is taking me." I say going to get my bag that Zander's sitting on

"Okay cause I'm not feeling good I was just gonna see if Zander could take you or something." she says walking upstairs

"Zander get your fatass off my bag I'm gonna be late!" I say trying to push him off my bag but he's to big and strong its no use

"No its comfortable." he says moving his butt on my bag

"Please its gonna smell now." I say giving him my puppy dog eyes.

"huh Fine." he says getting up

"And Zander you have marker on your butt."I say laughing

"Stop lying." he says getting his keys and walking out the door

"He's gonna find out the hard way." Damon says laughing hard his face turns red

"I warned him he didn't believe me."I say shrugging my shoulders I'm picking up my phone

"Bye Drew's here." I say leaving

"Okay love you be careful."he says walking up stairs

"Hey babe. " drew says

"hey babe." I say giving him a quick Peck on the lips and buckled up. The ride to school was fast once we got there I was greeted by desire my best friend.

"hey bæ." I say giving her q hug

"hey loser."she says
~skipping school day~

I walk out of school to see drew kissing Rachael the schools slut.

"Drew!!"I yell even though I'm like 10 feet away from them

"Athena its not what it looks like I swear."he says walking to me

"Don't I know what I saw you and this slut together . I'm done I gave you to many chances its over!!"I yell walking away from them.

I pull out my phone and call the one person I could think of Zander.
(conversation A=Athena Z=Zander)
Z: Hello? Athena
A: Yea Zander can you take me home?
Z: Yea meet me at the parking lot
A: okay thank you bye.
(End of conversation )

I make my way to the the parking lot and see Zander waiting his red convertable mustang.

"Athena what's wrong?" Zander asks once I get in the car

"Nothing." I say looking down so he can't tell I was crying

"Yea somethings wrong your crying."he says making me look at him

"Zander its nothing to worry about I dealt with him." I say

"Can you at least tell me what happened?"he asks as we pull out of the parking lot

"D-Drew he cheated on me I saw him with Rachael kissing." I say braking down in tears

"Its okay at least he's not your mate. " he says as we pull up to my house.

"Thank you for the ride." I say getting out of the car and running to my room . Once I make it to my room I break down in tears .

I kept crying till I realized he's not worth crying over Zander was right he's not even my mate.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when someone knocked on my door.

"Athena its Emily can we talk."She asked in a pleading tone

"yea come in."I say wiping the tears away

"I heard what happened and don't worry you might find your mate on your birthday you don't need him. You'll find the love of your life like I found your brother." she says

"That's kinda what Zander told me and thank you Luna." I say smiling at her

"How many times have I told you call me Emily."she says and walks away. I checked the time and it was already 10:30pm. I got up nd made my way to the kitchen and started making some hamburgers cause everyone has to be hungry.

I finished cooking at 11:25pm

and by then Celeste,Emily,Damon,and Zander waiting for their food.

"Celeste what are you still doing up?" I ask

"I was hungry." she says

"yea know its time for a shower." I say picking her up and taking her to her room. After the shower I tucked in her bed.

"Can I sleep with you I'm scared?"she asks looking down

"Yea lets go."I say picking her up and taking her to my room.

"Go to sleep I'm gonna take a shower." I say giving her a kiss on the cheek

"Love you."she says in between a yawn.

I get up and make my way to the bathroom across the hall cause it has the tub and mine doesn't. After the shower I realized that I forgot to bring my clothes so I got my towel and rapped it around my body and walked out of the bathroom. To only run into a shirtless Zander. "Umm hey when your done changing can you come to my room?"Zander asks nervously

"yea."I say walking into my room and putting on yoga pants,Victorias secret pink sweater,and fluffy socks.I reach Zanders door and open it to see him pacing back and forth." Are you okay."I ask "yea come in."he says "what did you want to talk to me about ?"I ask getting to the point

"Oh yea Umm can I be your escort to your party?"he asks nervously

"yea but there's not gonna be a lot of people their."I say "yea there is he's Damon's inviting all the packs around here."he says "Oh why is he doing that."I ask

"He wants you to meet your mate."he says looking down

"Oh okay goodnight see you tomorrow I have Celeste sleeping in my room since she's scared."I say getting up

"Your like her mom."he says laughing

"Yea but I don't care someone has to watch her."I say leaving the room .I walk in my room and see Celeste asleep I go and cuddle with her and I fall into a dreamless sleep.
