The next day Tori went to school.with a feeling that Edward wasn't going to be there. When she arrived, she was right. She sighed and went to class. 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺 It's been a couple of days since Edward left, Tori has hardly talked since that day. The other Cullens watched Tori closely. They noticed she hasn't spoken since she came here. Alice drifted into a vision of where Tori was laying on her floor gasping for air. She came out and gasped. "Something is seriously wrong." Alice said as she looked at Tori worriedly.
"Why's that?" Emmett asked. Alice looked away from Tori to Emmett.
"I had a vision where she was in her room on the floor gasping for air."Alice said. Rosalie became confused with what she heard. She knows Tori never had troubles breathing. Rosalie believes it has something to do with Edward. 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺 Tori was home by herself when she suddenly felt like she couldn't breathe. She tried to calm down, but realized that she's not panicking. She doesn't know what's going on and everything around her started to go black. The last thing she saw was was four people rushing in to her before she finally blacked out.
"She barely has a heartbeat. Let's get her to the hospital." Jasper said as the others rushed out to get the car going as Jasper carried her. They all were confused why this is happening to Tori, but knew it had something to do with Edward. 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺 A week later, Edward and Tyler came back and Tori started feeling better. Her dad and sister were worried about her since the doctor couldn't find anything wrong. Edward on the other knew what it was like. He couldn't hardly breathe and doesn't know what's going on.
Tori was sitting at the lunch table with her head down. She wasn't really hungry and Bella became worried. Alice looked at Jasper for him to make her hungry. "I tried Alice. She's fighting against me. The only feeling I know she has is guilt. She blames herself for you leaving." Her said directly to Edward.
Edward looked at his mate and felt bad for what he has put her through. He watches as she got up and ran to the bathroom. "Alice will you see if she's alright." He asked which she agreed.
Alice made it to the bathroom to hear her throwing up. "Are you alright." Alice asked Tori. Tori nodded.
"Yeah just been feeling weird and I don't know why." Tori said. She left and went straight to class knowing that Edward wasn't there. 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺 Tori walked into her last class of the day to see Edward. She was shocked to see him there. She got the courage to go sit down beside him. She waited for class to begin when he spoke. "Hello." He said as she turned to him, "I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself last week. I'm Edward Cullen and you are Tori Swan."
"Yes that would be me. You were gone." She said as the lesson started. They made small talk as they worked on their assignment. Bella looked up and smiled to see her sister finally talking again. The two talked and Tori started to feel better for some odd reason. 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺 Tori stood by the truck waiting for Bella who stayed behind to use the restroom. Tori had just turned off her mp3 to hear screeching tires. Bella came out at the time to see the vehicle heading towards her sister. "Tori!" Bella screamed. Tori turned around to see the van.
Edward vamp sped to his mate to keep her alive. When the van struck it hit the bed of the truck and Edward's hand as the other was wrapped around her body. Tori looked up at him with fear in her eyes as Edward leaned his head against her forehead making sure she was alright.
Tori was close to passing out. The Cullens were happy he saved her and no one didn't see anything even Bella. Bella didn't see Edward move because she stood in shock at the van and her sister once she got there she hugged Tori who passed out in her arms. 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺 Tori was still passed out when Charlie arrived. Bella was stroking her hair as Charlie was angry. Dr. Cullen came in and saw Edward's mate. She was still passed out. "She'll be fine. Just the shock of the incident that made her pass out." Dr. Cullen told them.
"Is she going to wake up soon." Bella asked worried for her best friend/sister
"I'm afraid she won't till tonight. We have a room prepared for her and she can leave tomorrow." He said as he left them alone with her. Edward was fighting with Rosalie as Carlisle showed up. He stood there listening to Rosalie, who was protecting her family as Edward wanted his mate to live. Bella was talking to Tyler trying to get answers, but he denied everything.
"Carlisle is she going to be okay." He asked. Carlisle nodded till they saw the nurses running.
"Dr. Cullen, it's Tori Swan." The nurse said out of breathe. "She's stopped breathing and no one knows why." She said as she ran to Tori's room.
Carlisle and Edward did the same. Edward stopped and felt the same thing. He did his best to keep up. Once him and Carlisle made it, Edward could finally breathe and his mate was calming down. The nurses and doctors were confused with what happened. Carlisle looked at his son and noticed that whatever is going on is their mate bond.
Edward sat with Tori that night so nothing would happen again. 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺 That night, Edward finally got to read her mind. Tori was trying to understand how everything changed since she came to Forks. Edward felt his undead heart beat on the day she arrived. Edward is starting to believe their mate bond is stronger than his families mate bond.
