As time went on Jamein realized that he had something to live for. It wasn't that long into his senior year that his best friend Jeno confessed that he was in love with him. And it wasn't that long after that, Jaemin found out that he was pregnant. Needless to say that he was shocked, and he found it slightly funny that he was about the same age that his mother was when she gave birth to his older brother. He felt a multitude of emotions all at once. And the first person that he told about this was his best friend Donghyuck. His friend was over the moon and completely shocked about all of this. He found it surprising that Jaemin was pregnant while still in high school, even though his mother was a teen mom before she died. If anything, Donghyuck thought that he would be the first one of them to get pregnant and more than likely still be in high school so that his older brother Taeyong could murder him and his boyfriend Mark who's in college. And the two of them had been going out for over 3 years already. Though he was in fact happy for his best friend. With the kind of crappy life that he had in the past, he thought that Jaemin deserved some happiness in his life now. He even told him that he would be there for him no matter what happens.
After telling his best friend his secret the next person that Jaemin that told was his little brother Jisung. Jaemin was so nervous after school that day when he had picked up his little brother after class and they walked home from school. Once they got inside their apartment that they shared with their older brother Jaemin had cornered Jisung in their room to have a talk with him. "What did you want to talk about with me Nana-Hyung." Jisung asked his brother. He looked so pure and innocent sitting on Jaemin's bed with his big doe eyes starring up at him. Jaemin let out a breath and moved to sit down next to his baby brother on the bed. He didn't know how to start talking about this? What was he supposed to say to him? 'Hey, Sungie, guess what you're going to be an Uncle!' Or 'Hey guess what I'm following in Mom's footsteps and got knocked up in high school, yay!' He knew that he was freaking out too much about this, and that no matter what he would have Jisung's support through this. When ever they were small children and someone would go and pick on them because none of the 3 of them had the same father, it was always Jaehyun or Jisung who stuck up for him against the school bullies on the playground. Jaemin has never been able to stand up for himself, his family and friends yes, he'd do anything for them in a heartbeat. Though whenever it came to Jaemin himself he just couldn't do it. All of his life his grandmother had told him that he was too much like his mother for it to be healthy. She would tell him stories about how his mother even though she was very shy and quiet would stick for any and all of her friends in a heartbeat. Though whenever the bully would aim directly for his mother she would just stand there and take it like it was nothing. His grandmother had said that no matter what they told his mother, she never let it affect her in the slightest. She was one of the strongest and toughest braver than anyone Jaemin has ever known, the only two people that even come close are his older brother Jaehyun and their Hyung Taeyong.
Jaemin can remember times of when they were younger and it was only Jaehyun and Taeyong were in high school. Jaehyun was only a freshman, while Taeyong was a junior. Jaemin can remember one time when he was almost through with his 6th grade year in middle school that was forever stuck in his mind. It was late at night, and he and Jisung were asleep in their beds since it was a Thursday night and a school night. It was the day before one of their school breaks and both of them were excited to be off for a while. Jisung was already sleeping soundly, up a storm, thought Jaemin had laid awake staring at their bedroom ceiling. He was too excited to sleep, for their grandmother was letting him spend the night over at his best friend Jeno's tomorrow. He was always happy to spend time with Jeno and his other friends. And this time it was only him and Jeno who were able to spend the night together this time though. Though this wasn't the first time that it would just be the two of them at one's house. But this time there was just something that made him so nervous about tomorrow and he didn't know why. While he was laying in bed trying to figure out what was wrong when he heard footsteps pass by their bedroom door. Jaemin rolled over to get a good look at his alarm clock. The little thing read 3:53 A.M. That was strange, nobody should be awake at this time, it being so late. Their grandmother made them be in bed by 10 every night on a school night. And their grandmother was anything but a night owl. There were only two things that Jaemin could think of to explain what was going on. The first one was that it was his older brother Jaehyun moving around either looking for something or sneaking out. It was probably the latter if that's what it was since his brother wasn't the type disobey their grandmother and sneak out at night. And the second option was that there was some sort of burglar in the apartment there to rob them all. Finally having enough of it when he heard the door open, Jaemin crept out of bed and walked up to his bedroom door. He slowly and gentlely opened the door and popped his head out.
Sticking his head out, Jaemin saw his older brother at the door talking to someone. Jaemin was very confused to what his brother was up to. It wasn't until he saw him let the person in that he sort of realized what was going on. It was his older brother's friend Taeyong. Taeyong was two years his brother's junior and he sort of had adopted Jaehyun, Jisung and himself as his own children as their neighbor Ten liked to put it. His little brother Donghyuck was also one of Jaemin's best friends and they all hung out together all the time. But it was very unusual that he was at their home so late on a school night. Taeyong was even more strict about stuff like this then their grandmother so this was very out of the ordinary. Though Jaemin became worried when he saw all of the bruises that littered his Hyung's face and body. That night he stood and listened at his door while his brother comforted a crying Taeyong in their living room that night. It wouldn't be until almost a year later that he would come to find out that Taeyong had been jumped on his way home from his part time job and was attacked very violently by a gang of 3 street thugs. And that they did more to him than just beat him up. His Hyung was a shell of his former self for months. And it wasn't until he got closer to their neighbor Johnny that Taeyong started to act like himself again. They've been together for almost 6 years know and they're engaged and Taeyong is pregnant with their first child. Thinking back to that moment made Jaemin realized how much he wanted to be as strong as his Taeyong Hyung.
"Jisung, I-I'm pregnant." Jaemin told his little brother. He looked away and gave his brother time to process what he had just told him. After awhile of silence Jaemin lifted his head up when he felt Jisung move his hand into his own. "Don't worry Hyung, it'll be ok. And on the bright side I get to be an Uncle!" Jisung cheered as he moved to wrap his hyung in a bear hug. And Jisung was right everything had turned out in the end for the better. No one was mad at him and his boyfriend Jeno had told him that he was planning on proposing to him anyway at their graduation ceremony anyway and just decided to do it now instead. They got married a week after their high school graduation with all of their friends and family in attendance. And during their first semester of college Jaemin gave birth to a beautiful little girl that they named Luna after his mother.
