In addition, she can react with lightning fast reflexes to her surroundings. Reaction to Gallant: She was originally opposed to the idea of random strangers powers to fight other power users and she still is, but she's encouraging and supportive to her fellow heroes, they needed to help each other after all. She's calculating and clever, though she thinks a little too much and that has led to some internal struggles that she now deals with. Lyra is also quite cynical and doesn't believe in terms like "the greater good" Backstory: Lyra had a rough childhood. She grew up in a poor town with an even poorer family. One day, her parents became very ill, but they had no money for medicine. Taking matters into her own hands, Lyra dove right into crime. She stole jewelry and money until she could buy the medicine her parents needed. However, when she went to go purchase it, the doctor refused because the medicine was in low supply. So, Lyra simply decided to steal from the doctor, but she was caught. Upon her crime being discovered, she was outcast and forced to leave the town. She's wandered for years with only stolen money and a flawed moral compass to guide her. Powers: Light Manipulation/Hardlight. Lyra can manipulate the light around her, even absorbing it to create a darker environment, which she used to help (Pharaohess). Furthermore, she can create physical structures and objects from sources of light around her, with a set of restrictions. Reaction to Gallant: She's pretty indifferent to the Gallant Operation, but she's overall opposed to the idea of some secret organization imposing what they think is right by force.
