Transition: The Other Way Around

I miss being on a long trip with my family, when our aunt is driving and us kids are sitting in the backseat and everyone's just chill listening to that same old mixtape and sometimes to grown-up's conversation.

I miss it because we're all grown-up and we rarely do it now. I miss it because it could be the other way around, where I'm the one who's supposed to drive. I miss going back to those moments where grown-ups are incharge of everything. I miss the stopovers, the snacks we eat while on the way to our destination, the type of music we listen to that's been labeled now as "Roadtrip Mixtape cir. 1990's - 2000".

This is the same story told over and over again but from a different person. We usually tell stories of what we miss. Most of it circulates during our childhood years. Whatever your family constitutes of, it's still a family as long as there is love.

A really good story starts with family and -- ends with family.
