My Dearest, Astoria,
We finally have a son! He was left at our doorstep three days ago. Hes actually my brother's child, Silas. It's actually quite tragic, and I send my deepest apologies for not telling you as soon as I found out. My brother and his wife are dead, no one seems to know how. Regulus' older child, Seline, was sent to live with her grandmother on her mother's side which of course means I'll never see the little girl again. My in-laws never did like my brother or our family. I dont understand why, we're Purebloods just the same as them, but I've always gotten the feeling it has something to do with my lack of magic specifically. And speaking of my in-laws: if anything were to happen to me, I want you take care of Silas like he was your own son.
Cyrus is thrilled to have a child, although I had to explain that our child would probably be a wizard and I absolutely wanted him to go to Hogwarts like my brother and sister-in-law and my 'Good Friend Astoria' did, and of course that lead to the whole "what the f*ck do you mean, wizard" thing and ugh. I just wish it was common knowledge amongst Muggles and such that wizards and witches and magic was a thing. I understand why you all cant do that, but it would be so much easier on this end. Maybe not, actually...
Well, I know you're busy with your husband's business and your son and such, so I wish you all the best. Oh by the way I made sure to feed Felix when he arrived, he sure is a beautiful little owl.
