Sports Festival Part 1

I finished explaining to the class about what happened at U.S.J. It wasn't a big explanation. Just the fight alongside Shoto, saving Denki, Momo, and Kyoka, the fight in the 'Flooded Zone', and the whirlpool and lightning signal I created.

They were amazed, shocked, surprised, well, all the excited emotions that one can think of.

I never told them about the techniques not being a quirk. I didn't wanted to draw more attention to myself than I already have.

Anyways, right now I was in the cafeteria sitting on the table. Momo was to my left, Kyoka to my right, Kirishima in front of me, and Mina to his right.

Kirishima: "...I mean, Bakugo mostly did the explosions, and I just kept punching." He was telling his part of the story when he was in the 'Ruined Zone' with Bakugo.

Momo: "Well, at least you watched Bakugo's back."

Kirishima: "Not that he needed it, though." He was very cheerful.

Mina: "You guys had all the fun. Fighting and creating huge swirly water and everything." She was a little disappointed.

Y/n: "Hey, at least you helped Number 13. That's something."

Mina: "Yeah, but not like you guys." I took a deep breath and sighed.

Momo: "What is it, Y/n?"

Y/n: "Nothing. Just remembering the events again. It's not easy to forget it, even when you almost died."

Kyoka: "How bad was it?" I looked at them and they were curious yet worried of what happened to me.

Y/n: "It was bad. Your life flashes before your eyes and images of people appears all of a sudden. Not one of my top ten moment in my life."

Tenya: "Do not feel down, Y/n." He sat to left of Kirishima, and Uraraka was sitting at the end of the table. "Just be grateful that you are alive."

Y/n: "And I am. But I can't shake the feeling I've experienced."

Tenya: "I felt the same way when I left you guys." We all turned to him. "The weight that I have left you all and your fate was in my hands was a terrible feeling."

Kirishima: "But at least it gave you the motivation to keep running at full speed. And thanks to you, we're all here." We all agreed with him.

Tenya: "Changing topic." He chopped onto the table, shaking the things on it and scaring us. "WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK ABOUT THE SPORTS FESTIVAL!?"

Mina: "Oh, I'm super excited about it!"

Uraraka: "Me too!"

Momo: "It will be an interesting event."

Kyoka: "Let's not forget that it'll be fun."

Kirishima: "I think that it'll be a great opportunity to crush things."

Mina: "What do you think, Y/n?" They all turned to me.

Y/n: "All of you already said what I was thinking, so I'm quite interested on how the U.A. Sports Festival really is."

Uraraka: "Wait, you don't know what U.A. Sports Festival really is?" I shook my head.

They all gasped. And when I say all, all of the cafeteria gasped. The ones around us kept on their business while the ones on my table started to explain.

Momo: "Well, the Sports Festival is where we can put our quirks to the test, compete against one another, and to impress the professional heroes."

Tenya: "The first two competitions are chosen by lottery and the last one is the battle. Once you've beaten your first opponent, you will head to the next round against the other person who wins." It was an interesting explanation.
