-Carter's P.O.V-

I paced around my room rambling stuff in my head nervous about what could happen. I had entered through my window and so my mom doesn't know I'm in here. I think?

I sat down on my bed and breathed in deep. "Ok Carter calm down ok, it was just Spider-man, he couldn't have possibly seen your face, anyways he can't say his identity he won't tell mine...right?" i said to myself fiddling with my fingers.

"What do i have to be so nice, i could've just run away like a normal human and wait to be told in the news" i said flopping flat on my bedroom.

I then thought of how could have that fire started. Mr. Delmar was very careful and he always took good care of his shop he couldn't have to burn it.

"Maybe-"

"AMAANI VONDRASEK I WANT YOU IN THE LIVING ROOM RIGHT NOW!" i heard my mom yell and i gulped.

'How did she know i was in here, she couldn't have seen or heard me'

"NOW!" she yelled again and i quickly stood up and ran to the living room. "Yes mom" i said trying to sound normal. "Will you like to explain this?" she said pointing to the TV where was the "Daily Groceries" shop that i once had seen burned was now practically ice.

"I cannot mom" i said and she gave me a scary pointed look. "Ok mom, it was burning and well i wanted to be nice and use my powers so i put the fire of the shop out" i explained and she shook her head.

"Do you understand this can call people's attention, no shop can magically get completely frozen" she said and i looked down sheepishly. "Sorry mom, it just i wanted to help and it felt good to use my powers" i said and she sighed then rubbed the bridge of her nose.

"Sweetie, i know you want to use your powers and it can be tempting but you have to understand we're in earth to hide, not to become superheroes" explained and walked over putting her hand on both of my shoulders.

"I get it mom, but Spider-man can mask it" i said trying to laugh at my joke that wasn't really meant to come out as a joke. "Spider-man was there and did he see you?" she asked worriedly.

"I don't think so, but I'm not complete sure he didn't see my face" i said biting my lip. "Oh God lets just hope that boy in pajamas doesn't say anything" she said shaking her head.

i was about to talk but a knock on the door snapped both of our heads it's way. "I'll open" she said and i nodded hoping it wasn't any type of agent.

'Wow, i am really am paranoid'

She opened the door and there stood Peter Parker. "Hey Ms. Airis" he said walking inside. "Peter nice to finally see you around here" she said and i gave her a look.

"Uh yeah sorry the um the Stark internship, has me occupied" he said the same excuse he gave me. My mom nodded and pointed at me.

"Not too late remember its night school" she said giving both of us the 'I'm-watching-you-look' then walked to her bedroom. I looked at Peter and grabbed his hand pulling him to my room.

"Snow, what's the matter?" he asked and i closed the door turning to him. "Didn't you see the news" i exclaimed and he made a realization face.

"Yes, aren't you supposed to you know...stay...undercover" he said and i nodded sighing. "Yeah well that didn't include today" i said sitting on my bed Peter following me.

"You left that pretty frozen" he said and i nodded. "Yeah i tried to do it most discreetly but i forgot to control it and well it spread" i said.

"Did you see Spider-man?" he asked sounding nervous. "Mhm and the boy had been following me so i had to fly, i just wait he doesn't tell anyone about me" i said and i felt him grab my hand.
