Chapter 30

Kiva POV
Valentines Day

"Kivi!!" I laughed answering my phone.
"Hey Indi." She giggled.
"Daddy say get ready. We be there in 100 seconds." She exaggerated.
"100 seconds? Don't your daddy know it takes time for me to get ready?"
"Uh huh. I tell him early." I shook my head. And the fact that he stay in the same complex as me don't make it any better.
"He never listen."
"Nuh uh." She agrees.
"I don't appreciate y'all talking about me. Ki open up." He hung up the phone. Then there was a beating on the door. I'm not gon lie, the beat was tight.

I got out the bed to go open the door.

"Kivi!" I squatted down to give India a hug. "Why it look like you just got out of bed?" Trey pulled me into him after India ran off to the extra room. "Cause I did." I kissed his lips and went back to my room.
"Hell no. Get up." He snatched the covers off of me. "Trey move. My body is still tired." I had another track meet yesterday. "I don't care. Get up and put some clothes on." He says. "I do have on clothes." I mumbled, rolling my eyes to my closet. "What I told you bout that mumbling shit?" He slaps my butt. "Trey!" I snapped and he laughed.

"Where we going?" I asked getting in the passenger seat of my car. He need to get his car fixed and fast. "Disney World!!" India yells. "She wanted to go and asked if you can too. I mean, we're right here it just a couple minutes-" I cut him off. "It's fine." I haven't been to Disney in a while... Although the amusement parks aren't far from where we live.

"You really don't have to hold her." Trey tells me again. "I know Trey." I sighed. We where here for a good 7 hours riding the little kiddie rides, but I had fun right along with India and so did Trey. Right now, India's on my hip about to fall asleep. You know kids be knocked out after playing and eating.

"Iight. She can get heavy when she's out cold." He warns me. "Tremaine, I got it." I laughed. "Okay Ki." He wrapped his arm around me, pulling me closer to his side. "Short ass." He chuckled when I playfully kicked him.

"Tremaine Young." This girl walked towards us and stopped dead in front of us. "Sup Nova." He says with an annoyed tone. "What are you doing here?" She says not even acknowledging me. "Taking my girls out. What do you want?" He asks. "Just to see my niece." She looked at me rolled her eyes then touched India which made her wiggle a little.

"I see you replaced my sister with a fake breasted hoe." She says and boy if I wasn't holding a baby, I would've dropped this girl. "First off trick, my breast ain't fake. It's something I like to call being foreign. I bet next you gon say my ass fake. You wanna kiss it to check? And ain't nobody replacing nobody so get the fuck outta here. Don't know me from a can a paint. Oh, and thank you for purchasing the magazine I'm on the cover of." I snapped. Some nerve she got trying me, but yet I can see a magazine in her purse with me on the cover.

"You gon let her talk to me like that?" She asks him. "I'm sorry, I'm pretty sure my dick went inside yo sister and not you. You ain't none of my business. How bout you go find that person who business you is while we leave." He simply says before guiding me away.

"Oooooo she better be lucky." I say getting in the car still kind of hyped. "Man, don't worry bout ha." "She acting like she had something going on with you." I tell him. "Naw, I fucked her sister which was India's mother. That is it." I just sat back shaking my head.

"Hey ma." Trey hugged his mother when she opened the door. "Hey baby. Gimme." She took India from him. "Grandma's baby." She coo'd then looked at me. "Child why are you standing behind this boy? I didn't know you were here." She says before pulling me into a hug and closing the door. "Mama, she just short." Trey goes before moving away. Knowing I was going to do something.

"When you got back?" I heard Trey. "Last night." I heard another male's voice. "Come in, come in." Telilah says. "She might want these when she wakes up." I told her holding some things from Disney. "Here, come with me." She then started walking up the stairs and I followed.

"I'm very happy my son found you." She says and I blushed. "Thanks." She laughed. "You know, she needs a mother." She says and I froze up. She turned to look at me after laying India down. "Now listen, I'm not saying that you need to step up and be a mother to a child that is not yours because I have no rights to even think that. I'm just saying that you're the first girl my son has ever brought around since India was born. He sees something in you and I can tell that he is falling deep for you. He may not say, but I'm his mama so trust me, I know. I hope I'm not scaring you away." She says and I laughed.

"No, you're not." I smiled. "Okay, let's go back downstairs." She patted my shoulder and walked out the room. I sighed looking at India. "She needs a mother." Kept ringing in my head. I kissed her forehead and heading out. What am I thinking? I'm only 19 and Trey and I just started dating. Plus I just met India, there's no way that she sees me as a mother figure.

Trey POV

"What did you say to her?" I asked my mom when she came downstairs. "Don't worry about it baby." She reached up to kiss my cheek. "No forreal mama, I know you." I say just as Kiva walked in. "What she say to you? What she show you?" I asked and she laughed. "Don't worry about it baby." She kissed my lips and was about to walk away until I stopped her.
"You know, my mother said the same thing." She shrugs. "Great minds think alike." "Mhm. Come here."

"Dad, Kiva. Kiva, my dad, Louis." I introduced them. "What an introduction." She mumbles sarcastically so I grabbed her ass. "Stop. Nice to meet you." She shook my dad's hand. "You too." "We should get going." I told them. "Have fun guys." My mom called after us. "Good night." Kiva says.

"You so rude." Kiva says getting in the car. "And you continue to mumble, so what?" She ain't say nothing so I looked at her shaking her head.

"I don't really want to do anything." Kiva tells me. "I'm taking you out." "Out where?" She sighs. "Somewhere." I shrugged. "Well can I put on comfortable clothes. We both can actually." She says. "Sure."

"Don't be surprised if I go to sleep during this movie." She tells me. I looked down to see her standing with her eyes closed and laughed. (Kiva&Trey in MM)

"You always falling asleep on me." I bend my head down, placing it on her shoulder. "Cause I be sleepy." I turned her around to look at me. "And your point?" My hands were slowly making their way down. "That you should be considerate." She kissed me then turned back around so that her back was against me.
