Ch 9-Tuesday

Tyler's Pov

Those words that Elise had told me made me think that I actually might like her. I talked to Naz and he just says that me and Elise are gonna happen. So he wasn't much help. But I can't stop thinking about her. Does that mean...?

Elise's Pov

I walk in to home room early and Luke the red head, comes and sits next to me. I think we're friends but I'm never sure. And I do like Tyler but I think I like Luke too. Everytime Luke touches or talks to me I flip out. But he has a girlfriend, Hannah.
"Hey!" He says.
"Hey!" I say.
"Ya know we have the same birthday?"
"Ya, I know. Why?"
He shrugs. "I don't know just thought that was kool." he says Kool weird. He looks at my left wrist and sees my Supernatural bracelet and his draw drops. "You like Supernatural too!"
I laugh cause his face is just too funny. "Ya. You do too don't you?"
He nods quickly.
"I have a Supernatural magnet in my locker."
"You have to show me it!"
"Ok" I say laughing. "I know we both like Divergent but I don't have any Divergent stuff in my locker." I shrug.
"My Besties even cooler than what I thought!"
"What?" I'm confused!
He nudges me. "Aren't you my bestie?"
I laugh. "Um, I don't know. Am I?"
"Well if its up to me than yes! Gosh! I can't believe you didn't even know!" He acts shocked.
I just laugh and shake my head.
"You goin to McDonalds after school today?" he asks.
McDonalds is right across from our school.
"No."
"Oh. Well you should."
"I know. Id like to, but too late now. I don't have a phone." I say.
"Oh well, you can use mine to call your parents and ask. Pleeeeeaaaase!"
"Ok! Fine! I will!"
"Yay! Bestie!" he says and hugs me.
He always try's to talk to me but not this much and never begs me to go places with him. What's gotten into him?

Before 7th period, Tyler raps his arm along my neck.
"Sooo...." he says.
"Sooo...." I say in a deep voice.
We then laugh.
"You ok?" I ask him.
"Ya" he shrugs. "Im fine. I'm with you aren't I?" he winks at me.
"Oooohhhh, Tyler."
"What?" he says laughing.
"Actually I don't know."
"Whatever! Ill see you later."
"K!" and I walk away and another arm swings across my neck. This time, its Luke.
"Jesus Luke! You scared the shit out of me!" I say.
He laughs. "Sorry."
"It's fine. But when you had high fives me in math when I had my hand raised I was zoned and then you high fived me and scared the shit out of me then too!"
He laughs.
"You're first jobs gonna be in a fricken haunted house!"
"Ok, I'm sorry. Ill try not, to scare the shit out of you anymore."
"Thank you."
"Why were you talking to Tyler?"
"What is it a crime?"
He brings me to sit down at his lunch table and says "No, just curious. Ya know he has a girlfriend, right?"
I let out a chuckle. "No he doesn't. Not anymore."
"Oh. When did they break up?"
"Yesterday."
"Oh well he seemed pretty fine."
"Ya that's thanks to me."
"So you're like his best friend? Or are you now dating him?"
"No!" I say. "Im not dating anybody! And according to you, you're my best friend! So he'd be my second best friend."
He smiles. "Yay! Trick question!"
Me and Luke walk out together and walk to Tyler.
"Luke?" Tyler asks confused.
They know each other cause they're both football players.
"What's up Tyler?" Luke says.
"Nothing but, what are you doing with Elise?"
"We're besties! And were going to McDonalds together after school. You coming?"
"No" he shakes his head. He looks really upset. And seeing him sad makes me sad. "I better get going." he starts to walk away.
"No! Wait! Tyler!" I shout after him. "Stay here. Give me a sec." I say to Luke. He nods and I catch up to Tyler. "Tyler?! What's wrong?"
"Are you dating Luke?"
"What?! No!"
"Do you like him? Would you say yes to him if he asked you out?"
I look into his sad eyes and say, "Tyler," I take a breath, "I love you. But, then I kinda like Luke. Its complicated."
He sighs. "What if both of us asked you out?"
Ok. Where is this coming from?! "Well, I want you more. But It's whoever makes their move first."
"Fine. Then I'm making mine now. Elise, will you be my girlfriend. I really really like you."
I smile. "And I really really really like you. Yes, ill be your girlfriend."
He smiles brightly. "I love you."
"I love you too." I say.
We exchange smiles and walk away.
I walk back to Luke. "What'd you say?"
How do I put this? Now I know that Luke likes me, this is gonna be really awkward. Theres no good way to put this. "Oh, um, well, he told me he really likes me."
He frowns but then acts like everything's fine by saying "I knew it!"
I laugh. "And well, now ya, me and Tyler are dating."
He nods, once again sad.
"What? That ok with you?"
He shrugs. "Whatever. Lets go."
We walk to class. We both have basically the same exact schedule.
When people are leaving school, Luke somehow finds me and I show him my locker. He says he loves them then we leave for McDonalds.
When we find a clean, empty booth we sit on opposite sides.
"So you and Tyler now?" he asks with a smirk.
"Yep!" I smile.
He then flashes a small smile.
"Look, I'm sorry. I like you but I like Tyler more. Im sorry." I say.
"So, wait, you do like me?"
"Well, ya but-"
"Wait a minute, ok. I was gonna ask you to be my girlfriend on the way to 8th period. But then Tyler came in. And then we you came back I was gonna ask then but then all of a sudden you're dating Tyler!? So if I just would have said it faster you could have been mine instead of his?"
I sigh. "Well ya."
He sighs too.
"Look, I'm sorry! Ok? I can't help it. But maybe someday?"
He sighs quietly. "No. it's fine. I don't know why I'm getting so mad. You and Tyler are PERFECT together. Which also means you'll never break up with him for me. I lost my chance. I shouldn't be such a sore loser."
"I don't know Luke. Nothing last forever."
Then my iPod beeps and its a kik message from Tyler.

He texted me: Hey! I just realised this. Is everything alright with you and Luke?

Actually that's what we're talking about right now

Should I just give you and him a chance? and if it doesn't work out, you're with me?

That's actually a good plan. But, what if it does? I don't want to lose you?!

You wont. Trust me on this.

You wouldn't get mad seeing us together?

Ill be fine. Tell him! Im doing this cause I love you! Now go!

Fine! Ill talk to you later

"Ok, ya know what, how bout we start me and you know? See how it goes?"
"What?"
"I mean, ill say I'm giving you a chance and if we don't work out, were done and ill just be with Tyler. Cause, I do like you." I smile.
"I can be with you?"
I nod.
"Ok. But lets do this proper ally." he gets up and squishes in next to me. "Elise, will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes" I say and he raps his arms around me.
A little later Taylor comes over saying "Ooooooooooo!"
Luke has his arm around me.
"You guys dating now?!" she asks.
"What's it look like?" Luke says.
"Bish whet?" I say twisting my hand and popping my neck out.
She just nods. "So did you give up on Tyler?" she asks me.
"It's a long story. Just, whatever."
"Ok fine! Whatever! Ill leave you guys alone!" she walks away and we laugh.
