Chapter 1 (Noah )

Chapter One

"Raise your glass" by pink blasted from my cell phone letting me no it was time to get up. Groaning ,I sat up in bed rubbing my eyes , I sighed wishing I could just lay back down and sleep some more. Swinging my legs over the side of my bed I shivered as my feet touched my cold wood floor. Grabbing my white jeans , black spiky belt, and black flannel shirt, I wanted to grab a shower before my queen diva of a brother snagged it.

Blinking the water out of my eyes and turning off the shower I rapped a towel around my body and walked to the sink, looking at myself I thought of how much I had changed since middle school , I had slimmed down now having a flat stomach instead of my pudgy one, and having  muscled  arms but not in a 'oh gross way to much muscle for a girl' kinda way, and I now have tan skin and a bigger bust , not huge but not tiny either, and my hair had gotten longer to. Drying off, I put my Skull bra on and my matching bikini style underwear. I start to brush my teeth , blow drying my hair , and putting deodorant on and a little vanilla perfume on my wrists. I slid into my white jeans,and my shirt.

I walked out of the bathroom and back to my room grabbing a pair of white socks and plopping in my computer chair to put them on. Once they were on I turned the chair around and wiggling my purple light up mouse so the screen would come to life. I flipped through my inbox , checking my facebook and myyearbook , then putting the iMac into sleep mode, I got out of the chair.

Sliding my backpack over one shoulder and grabbing my iPhone off my desk, I walked down stairs and into the kitchen , grabbing a cookie I quickly scribbled a note for dad and Josh telling them that I wouldn't be back untill after soccer .

Slipping out the door I walked to the end of my driveway and plopped down on the sidewalk , nibbling on my Oreo . After a few minutes my friend showed up in her mustang , see my friend came from a very rich family, her parents were always out of town on business, so lucky her,  she got the house to herself almost all the time , but I cant say I mind her being so lucky, me and her have sleepovers all the time and the snacks are amazing.

"Hey we gotta go like now or we'll be late!" Nora said giving me a frantic look, Nora was all about being on time and getting good grades , me yeah I get A's and B's but I try not to worry. As for her its strait A's all the way. "OK OK." I huff jokingly as I climb in her car and turn up the radio and put it on 101.3 just as "If I had you " starts to play .

The hole way to school me and Nora are belting our "IF I HAD YOU, MONEY, FAME AND FORTUNE NEVER COULD COMPETE!" Driving up to the school we parked and got out both clutching our stomachs wile racking with laughter. See thats the thing with Nora and I , we laugh over the smallest things.

Walking to our lockers Nora and I talk about what to get for snacks tonight , and what movies to rent while we have another one of our sleep overs. We finally chose Mountain Dew , Dr.Peper , cheddar and sower cream ruffles  , cheato's , pringles , Reeses, pizza rolls annnnd hoho's. I know what you're thinking , what pigs, but hey we both have fast metabolisms. The movies we pick , How To Train You Dragon , Lair Lair , and the first and second seasons of Drop Dead Diva , crap I better have Josh tell dad that I won't be home tonight. I was cut off as Nora gasped her eyes going all bugged out before she shyly bowed her head and looked at her feet. Wondering what she was looking at I turned around and found Case and Josh walking our way , looking at Case I could feel my cheeks get hotter. "Hey Emi ." Josh says waving. "Hey , oh uhm can you tell dad I'm staying at Nora's house tonight?" I ask him trying not to look at Case ."Yeah , I'll let him know, hey Nora , I'm surprised you haven't gotten bored with my sister yet ." Josh said smirking and winking at Nora ,blushing like crazy she says "Nah its cool.". Feeling his eyes on me I finally look at Case , god he's so hot with his blond hair ,blue eyes and totally kissable lips, man! All he does is smile at me for another fleeting second then nudges my brother in the ribs an says "Football practice, cya later." And with that he was gone."Yeah I should probably go to."Josh says, "K , later." I say ."Cya Nore ."Josh says giving Nora one of his million dollar smiles. I don't even get why the girls call it that. I mean I just don't see it, though it's probably because he's my brother an thats gross."Yeah , bye." Nora says smiling at him as he walks away ."Hey we better get to class too, cya at  second period ." I say dodging other people zigzaging to homeroom.

Sliding into my seat I put my head on my desk , closing my eyes I didn't even notice someone poking me with a pencil  untill they stated poking my lower back working there way down to my pants , wiping my head around so fast I probably got wiplash I glared at him , the biggest jerk , the biggest player and the guy who could have any girl he wanted , Noah Matthews ."Would you nock it off you perv ." I whisper yelled at him , he responded with a smug grin. Giving him one last glare I turned back around and got back to pretending to take notes, before long class was over and I was free . Walking to my next class someone comes up behind me."Hey Emiiiii." Noah said dragging out the "iii" part. "Guess what, we have the next two classes together" I groaned , and prayed this day would go by fast.

Just my luck the asshole Noah wouldn't leave me alone , all day long it was "hey Emi" this and poke poke poke poke!!!! Gah If I ever get the chance to -. I was snapped out of my "I hate Noah" thoughts by guess who the king jerkoff himself. "Hey ." He said catching up to me. "What do you want Noah." I said walking faster . "Ah nothing much just wanted to say 'hey'." he answered with a smirk. Oh I wish I could wipe that smirk right off his pretty little face. "Well there, you said hey now go away." finally at the field I head to the girls lockers." Well I really didn't want to ask you , and before I do , I'm making it clear that I'm not Jason's lap dog , errand boy , but I look forward to seeing you in you bra, so do you wanna come over this weekend ?" Noah raised an eyebrow and smirked with something in his eyes was it.... admiration? Glaring I nearly growled "Tell Jase that I will as long as his perv brother leaves me alone." Sick of having him look at me like a piece of meat I turned on my heel and went into the locker room.

After soccer practice I showered an changed into a pair of black skinny jeans , a red flannel shirl, red belt and red skytops. Sighing I stuffed my stuff into my bag and plopped onto the bench by my locker, flipping through my texts a message popped up on the screen from Jason saying..

Hey emi , are you coming over this weekend? My parents are out on business so its just me you and... Noah , sorry by the way can't really do much about that but I'm sure he'll be at a party or out with one of his many girls X-(

I responded with---

Yeah I  guess :) But hey I gotta go talk to ya later?

I stood up and slipped my backpack over my shoulder and walked out of the locker room , walking across the field I sat in the bleachers waiting for Nora. My phone went off telling me I had a text from Jase , it said;

yeah ofc , laterz hun

I smiled , he called me hun all the time. "Hey !!Emi!" I turn my head to the left seeing Nora leaning half out her car window with a huge grin on her face and a mountain dew in her hand dangling it at me." Hurry up or I'ma drink your soda." She yelled sliding back into the car. Walking to her car and hopping in, laying my head on the window I closed my eyes , maybe I could catch a few zzz's before we got to her house , hearing one of the back doors open and close I looked back to see none other then , Noah with a big grin on his face , glancing at Nora I scowled , but she wouldn't look at me. I just didn't care right now my head was pounding. So I just layed my head back on the window and tried to ignore his voice as he told Nora a joke which sent her into a fit of laughter. Here we go again . :(
