Wake up hunnie....

I hear a familiar voice call me

Sweetie you're gonna be late...

My eyes slowly fluttered open

There, sitting beside me was my mom, lauren

"Good morning sweetheart" she kissed me on the forehead then hugged me, her hugs were the best. "Good morning mom" i hugged her tight.

Hello, i am diane lopez from cerulean city!

Im gonna get my first Pokémon today

Its very exciting :D

Ive always dreamt of becoming a Pokémon trainer

I haven't decided on what starter i want but any pokemon will do.

Actually, im kinda leaning towards squirtle

I went down to get breakfast after i got ready.

"You excited?" mom said as she puts pancakes on my plate "YEP!" i replied before devouring one. I realized that i haven't poured syrup at the pancakes so i poured some on my plate and slorped the bottle (it was empty :/)

"I packed your things" she placed a backpack on the table, it was a regular backpack, she customized for me, i love my mom.

I finished the rest of my pancakes and stood up

"Bye mom" i said hugging her tightly, holding back tears "be safe and goodluck on your journey" she hugged me back even tighter.

I grabbed the back pack and went out to get my Pokémon.

I arrived at the gym

I walked inside to a big gym, misty and a Pokémon professor standing in the middle, waiting for us to come

I awkwardy walked towards them

"Hello there ( ^ ▽ ^ )" misty, the gym leader, greeted me happily, "oh uh hello," i smiled "im here to get my license and first Pokémon"

"I see, come with me" the professor lead me, misty following behind, to the other end of the
gym where three pokeballs were held in a suitcase

"These are the starter pokemon," he pointed at the three pokeballs "pick one that you want"

"I choose..... SQUIRTLE" i said, Misty's face lit up
"Good one!" She said enthusiastically

The professor handed the pokeball to me, along with a pokedex

"This pokedex serves as your trainers license," i nodded "use it to learn about pokemon and document them" i took the things and thanked them.

I let squirtle out (i called him hotdoggo) and introduced myself, he is very friendly, i felt a connection when i saw him, it feels like we were ment for each other.
