Pt.7|| 𝚈𝚘𝚞 𝙷𝚊𝚞𝚗𝚝 𝙼𝚎

*Remi's POV

"Fuck." I said as I looked at the wound on my hand from the knife.

"Remi!" Colby rushed as he seen the open skin. "Damn how did you do that?" He asked as he checked out the cut.

"I was cutting the watermelon and I went to take the knife out but keep the watermelon from falling, and I accidentally cut my hand." I said as he covered my hand.

"Let's go get see if you need stitches." He said.

1 hour later

"Hello?" I picked up my phone.

"Remi?" I heard Kian say.

"Hey." I took a deep breath. "You ok?" I asked him.

"Yeah I'm good. I miss you, I mean it's been almost a week and you've been ignoring me." Kian said.

"I know and I'm sorry it's just I was upset." I said. "Well I have to call you later I just got out of the doctors office."

"Why, is everything ok?" He jumped.

"Yeah, I'm ok I accidentally cut my hand while cutting a watermelon so I had to get a few stitches." I laughed as I heard him chuckle too.

"You're such a cluts, Remi Reneé." He laughed. "Well I'm let you go. I love you and again I'm so sorry." He sniffed.

"It's ok, Kian. And I love you too. Bye." I hung up.

"That was Kian?" Colby looked at me as he kind of squeezed my hand a little knowing that I was probably nervous.

"Yeah." I breathed. "I just really want to get out of traffic." I huffed.

"I'm trying, love." Colby giggled. "I'm glad you talked to him." He smiled as he kissed my head.

"Thanks." I smiled. "How about we get Chic-Fil-a before we go home." I smirked.

"Fine." Colby looked at me with a wink. "You'll have to pay me back." He played.

"Nah, not happening." I teased him.

"Why not?" He groaned.

"Because I fixed your face, that's good enough." I smiled.

"Damn." He playfully huffed.

We got home and lied down on the couch. As my eyes began to shut, a dream started to appear... or what I thought was a dream.

"Colby!" I yelled out.

"I'm not Colby." I heard Kian say. I turned around and he's rubbing my shoulder.

"Kian, what's going on?" I asked. He kissed my head and turned me towards him.

"What do you mean?"  Kian asked as he kissed me.

"What the fuck are you doing, with Colby?!" I yelled at him, he looked at me and just laughed.

"You and Colby been through, Remi. Are you ok? Are you sick, baby?" He asked as he felt my head. "Can't let that baby girl of ours to get sick too." He smiled as he rubbed my stomach. I looked down and seen my pregnant body.

"Wha- no this can't happen." I started to panic. "I can't be with, you're my best friend!"

"Most best friends end up together, we've been together since 2019." He smiled. "It's been 4 years babe." Kian said as he got on one knee. "Remi, I love you and I will love you for the rest of my life. I will cherish you and this baby. I'm not gonna make this too long, so will you marry me Remi Reneé Chandler?"

"Kian... yes!" I didn't say yes it just came out like it was meant to happen. I guess in the dream it was.

"Yes!" He cheered, picking me up and spinning me around. "I love you!" Kian kissed me.

"I want to wake up! I want to wake up! Please wake me up!" I cried out a Kian held onto me.

*Colby's POV

"I want to wake up! I want to wake up! Please wake me up!" I woke up to Remi crying in her sleep.

"Remi, Remi wake up. It's just a dream, love." I shook her a little as she shot up with tears flooding her eyes.

"Colby!" She hugged me tight as she continued to cry. "It was just a dream, tell me it was just a dream!"

"Hey, it's ok. It was just a dream." I weakly smiled as I wiped her tears. "Do you want to tell me what the dream was about?" I asked as she nodded her head.

"I was with Kian an- and he was rubbing my shoulders, I thought it was you but it wasn't. He kissed me and told me that we were together for four years and I- I was pregnant and-and he asked me to marry hi-him!" She stuttered gasping for air.

"Breathe, breathe. Then you can continue." I calmed her down as she took deep breaths.

"I don't know why but I went to say no but my mouth said yes and he just hugged me as I tried to wake u-up." She cried. "I love Kian, but I don't want to be with him, he's my best friend. I want to be with you. I want to raise a family with you." Remi said nervously.

"I understand, love. But we don't have to worry about any of that until the future, ok?" I laughed. I live Remi with all my heart, but I'm not ready for marriage. Plus we have a bumpy history from the past.

"Yeah, yeah I'm sorry, I said to much." She laughed. "I love you Colby."

"I love you too." I weakly smiled as I pulled her in for a hug. "I love you too."

But will those words back-fire on the both of us?
