Chapter 13: "Pranking or...?"

Bela&Mahir walked out hand in hand. They were hungry so decided to have ice cream. At the ice cream parlor.

Bela: "Mahir" In a pleading tone "I want Oreo ice cream with chocolate on top."

Mahir: "To main kiya Karun?"

Bela: "Kiya Karun Matlab? Tum ek ladki ke sath ice cream parlor me khade ho, itni bhi tameez nhi hai?" After a pause "Go and bring ice cream for me." Commanding

Mahir: "Ok. Me jaa rha hun 'Apni' ice cream lene."

Mahir goes to the counter and orders his favorite strawberry with chocolate sparkles. When he gets the ice cream he goes towards Bela, who was looking at him with a confused face. He comes to her and winks at him and stands next to her.

Mahir: "Tumhe ice cream nhi chahyie? Me to apni le aya" By pointing with his eyes the ice cream in his hand "Nhi Khani?"

Bela without responding to him goes away and orders her ice cream. When she comes back Mahir was nowhere, she thought that maybe he is outside waiting for her. With this thought, she steps out and searches him with her eyes. She gets tensed after not seeing him, She again goes to the parlor and searches there for him but there was no clue of Mahir. Now she was getting really worried. She comes out from the parlor and stands there looking down with a sad pout in a very cute way. Mahir who was hiding behind the wall of the salon sees her like this, his heart melts looking at her. He comes out from his hiding place. Mahir comes to Bela taking baby and slow steps, he was behind her. He jerks her making her startle.

Bela: She shouts "Mahir!"

Mahir: "Kiya Hua? Darr gyi?" In a teasing tone "You were looking so cute" Pulling her cheeks "Awww... "

Bela: Jerking him away "Stop it"

She goes away crossing the road.

Mahir: "Areeee Bela..!"

Mahir stands there passing his hand on his nape to his hair. Then realizing that she went away quickly follow her.

Mahir tries to catch Bela while she is walking.

Mahir: "Bela me mazak k rha tha yaar! Isme gussa hone wali kiya baat hai."

Mahir stops Bela and pulls her to himself and says.

Mahir: He says in a baby and pleading tone "Sorry na! Maaf krdo na please"

Bela smiles at his innocence and shakes her head softly.

Bela: "Ok kiya maaf."In a very dramatic way "Jaa bacha jee le apni zindagi!"

Both chuckle and went to the nearby park. Sat on a bench and started chatting with each other, after good 10 minutes Bela says.

Bela: "Mahir, I'm feeling like someone's is there with us... Don't know, but I'm not feeling good."

Mahir: "Lekin Bela yahan par to koi nhi hai. Tum mujhse mazak kr rhi ho na? Jaise maine kiya."

Bela: "No, I'm not kidding. By the way, that prank was the worst prank ever."

Mahir: "You think? Waise tum hi darr gyi thi."

Bela: "Me darri nhi thi it was my strategy to catch your so-called prank." Says rolling her eyes

Mahir: "Joothi"

Bela: "I'm not lying, it's the truth." Saying with hurt "If you don't want to believe me then it's ok, I don't care about it."

Mahir: "Nhi Bela mera woh matlab nhi tha...!"

Bela: "Bye"

She leaves from there.

Mahir: "Oh no! Maine Bela ko phirse hurt kr diya. Shit!"

Mahir without wasting a second rushes behind her.

Bela who was hiding behind a tree chuckles looking at him.

Bela's P.O.V

I was behind a tree looking at Mahir. Isko lgta hai sirf yeh hi pranks kr skta hai, lekin nhi. No one can win with me doing pranks. Haha! Just look at his expressions. Such a cutie pie he is! I just was looking at him, what I saw made me shock. He was having tears in his eyes. Gosh! This is too much I should end this prank now. Oh god, Mahir, you're such a jerk, itni Choti si baat pe rone lag gye. He cares for you idiot My inner self responded. Well, yes the care for me in his eyes was clearly visible. Ugh, Bela! What are you doing there go and just hug him, go! Oh yes, I forgot. I started to come out of the hiding place but...

P.O.V Ends

Mahir was feeling guilty, he was cursing himself to hurt Bela and her emotions. He was waiting on the side of the road waiting for the light to put on green. When he gets the signal, he rushes to the other of the road and began searching for Bela. Later on 5 good minutes, Mahir gets Yuvi's call.

On-Call

Yuvi: "Hey Mahir! Sup? We finished the movie, where you and Bela?"

Mahir: "W...woh Yuvi..."

Yuvi: "Kiya Hua Mahir?"

Mahir: He tells the whole incident from the parlor to the park "Ab pta nhi woh Kahan gyi hai main kabse usse dhund rha hun, mil nhi rhi hai" Worry was clearly visible on his voice

Vish intervenes

Vish: "Kiya mtlb mil nhi rhi hai"

Mahir: "Pta nhi. Maine bataya na ki maine uspe prank kiya tha"

Vish: "Mahir, shayad tumhe pta nhi hai lekin Bela is a prank lover, she loves to do pranks, but when someone does a prank on her she gets angry. Ab mujhe pta nhi ki uske mind me kiya chal rha hai. But I'm having the feeling that something is wrong."

Yuvi: "Ruko Mahir, hum Abhi bahar aatein hain"

Mahir: "Please jldi aao, I'm getting worried"

YuVish runs out to the mall, where Mahir had told them.

Yuvi: "Mahir!"

Mahir: "Yuvi dekho na Bela mil nhi rhi hai. Pta nhi kahan ghum ho gyi. Agar uska koi prank hua na to me usse chodunga nhi!"

Vish: "Mahir please clam down, pehele park me dekh te hain, Chalo"

Yuvi: "Haan"

The trio begins to search for Bela all over the park, after decent 30 minutes. Vish loses her control. She sits on her knees and covers her face with her palms. Tears started flowing down her eyes.

Vish: Sobbing "Oh god Bela tum Kahan ho? Where are you, my little sister?"

Yuvi sits down too and consoles her stroking her hair.

Mahir on the other side was feeling guilty, he doesn't know why he was feeling lonely without her, maybe he was missing their fights or it was just her naughtiness he doesn't know but this feeling was very new to him.

Mahir: To himself "Where are you, Bela? Are you pranking me, if is it then please stop it I'm not liking this all."

Bela was nowhere seen maybe still behind the tree or maybe missing...
