Robyn Williams
Here I am. On Liana's bed. Laying down. And watching a very entertaining episode of "Watch your sister kill herself trying to find something to wear to a stupid party". Talk about good television. And this is the same stupid party I don't know if I'll be even attending.
"Robyn..." Liana whined like a 3 year old. "Help me find something."
"Why are you stressing yourself out about this?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.
"You might not like to dress nice for...well anything but I do. I can't be walking in that place looking like a hobo that just ran through a pig pen!" She screeched.
"Liana! Keep your voice down. I'm pretty sure you don't want Jaden to hear you."
This girl. Shake my head.
"Ohh..." She trailed off. "You mean your to-be-boyfriend?" She teased.
Wait...what?! To-be-boyfriend? Nope! Never!
"What?! Who said he was going to be my boyfriend?" I asked, now very curious of where she has gotten this information.
"No one did. I can see that you like him."
"I don't like him Liana." I say sternly.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"Are you really sure?"
"Yes Liana."
"Are you really really sure?" Okay. She's pushing it now.
"Yes Liana! I am very sure!" I snapped at her. Woah. Why did I snap from that simple question?
"Okay. Well I just wanted to make sure cause I might lkhev hsbz." She mumbled the last part so I didn't hear it properly.
"What?"
"I said....I might...like him." She said looking down in her lap. I don't know what it was but when she said that, j felt a sharp pain in my chest.
"Oh." Is all I said.
"Oh? That's all you're going to say?"
"Well there isn't much to say Liana. You like him. Good for you." I said but for some reason it seemed hard for me to get the words out of my mouth.
"But I hope you know he's a player." I informed her.
"Well I'll make sure he commits." She replied.
"How do you even know he likes you?"
"Who wouldn't?" There goes her cocky self. But I really hope Jaden doesn't like her.
"Oh just shut up and pick something to wear." I'm tired of this topic.
"Fine." Thank God she finally gave up on the topic. She hoped off her bed and skipped to her closet like a little girl. "What should I wear? What should I wear? What should I wear?" She sang.
"Okay I'll help." I gave in. "Yay!" She cheered. "And afterwards I'm helping you pick something." She demanded.
"Who said I was going to this stupid party?" I ask stupidly already knowing what she will say.
"I did." She answers. What did I tell ya.
"Huh...you'll never give up will you?" I asked getting off her bed as well and walking towards her closet.
"Nope." She says popping on the 'p'.
"Hmm..." I trail off as I run my hands through her clothes. "How bout this one? Its not too slutty, not too formal either its just right." I say handing her a black silky dress that stops mid thigh. She grabs the dress from out of my hand and lays it against her body. "Omg! Yes! This is the one! Thank you so much!" She says jumping up and down. "Yeah yeah you're welcome."
"Okay! To your room now!" She says grabbing my hand and pulling me out of her closet and dragging me into my room. Thankfully the curtains were closed so Jaden wouldn't be able to see us. Liana pushed me into my closet and started going through my clothes.
"OMG Robyn! You have no proper clothes. Don't you go shopping at all?"
"Of course I do! Every single Friday I go with my 300 friends!" I say sarcastically while rolling my eyes.
"No need to be sarcastic." She says rolling her eyes as well still looking through my rack of clothes.
"Have you found something yet?" I asked becoming impatient. I actually think I'm going to miss out on this party.
"Actually yes I have." I says while pulling out a vibrant red sleeveless dress that stops mid thigh as well. Where did I get that from?
"Don't ask me Robyn. You should know." I must have said my thoughts aloud.
"Okay well I will wear it."
"Ha! Baby girl you said that like you had a choice." She says flinging the dress at me and walking out of the closet.
"Rude." I mumble, walking after her.
"Okay go bathe and get ready and I'll come back here in 10 minutes after I'm done." She says. Before I can even reply she was out my door. I sighed, rested the dress on the bed and closed my door and headed to the bathroom. Yea. I have a bathroom in my bedroom. Awesome right?
I stripped from my clothes and turned the water on. I let the warm sensation go all over my body. After lathering my body and rinsing. I stepped out and grabbed my towel. I rapped it around myself and lotions my skin. After putting on my perfume and drying my hair I walked out of my bathroom.
I headed to my bed and picked the dress up and put it on.
What shoes will I wear?
Hmm...definitely not heels. Those death traps will definitely break my ankles. Hmm...probably my combat boots. Those silver ones will go perfect with these.
Since when did I become such a girl of fashion? I am spending way too much time with Liana.
I walk into my closet and grab my boots. I walk back out and find Liana sitting on my bed on her iPhone.
"Hey." I say slipping my boots on. She looks up from her screen and looks at me and smiles. "Hey. You look gorgeous." She gushes. "Enjoying the view?" I reply with a smirk. Yeah I have my cocky side too.
"Don't flatter yourself Rob." She says with a smirk of her own. And like if on queue, the door bell rings.
"That's probably Jaden." Liana says.
"Yeah let's go." I say grabbing my silver purse and heading down stairs.
"Exactly where do you guys think you're going?"
Shit. I forgot about mom.
"Oh um uh..." I tried to look for words.
"Well our new next door neighbor Jaden didn't have any friends so we told him would hang out with him tonight and show him about the town." Oh thank you Lord for my sister.
"Okay well enjoy and stay safe!" My mom yells as we make our way to the door.
Before I reached the door I gave myself a little pep talk. Building up enough confidence to make it through the night.
I grab the handle and open the door to see a God standing before me.
"Hey."
