I walked out of the convenience store, humming happily because of the snacks I bought.
I walked to the park nearby and took a seat. I sat at the grass near the playground and ate my ice cream, it's late at night, but many people are walking relaxing with themselves or with their peers.
I watched them entertain myself and appreciate the night's beauty, but something caught my eyes.
Two guys following the woman wearing a mask. I watch them for a second to make sure what I'm thinking; it confirms when one of the guys makes his way near hear, making the girl widened her eyes because of fear.
They're just close to where I'm sitting; I guess they didn't see me since it's dark here. I saw the guy pull a knife and point it to the girls' lower back; the girl is now is crying silently.
Tonight is supposed to be a relaxing day for me, but these two fucking guys just ruined it.I carefully move my way them and go to the other guy that was supposed to be a lookout and attack him at the back.
I put him to sleep and carefully lay him down to the ground not to create a sound, then I walk to the end of the other guy and top his shoulder and said
"hey, I think your friend needs help," startled him, making him face me; I saw how his eyes were wide in shock and suddenly attacked. He was about to stab me to my stomach, but good thing I'm fast enough to hold his hand is preventing it from stabbed me.
I twisted his wrist, making the knife fall to the ground, and immediately punch him until he lost his consciousness.
I look at the girl frozen to where she's standing to look at me with her teary eyes; I think she saw everything.
I sighed and pick up the knife; the girl steps back a little afraid that I will hurt her.
"there's no need to be afraid of, I'm just picking it to make sure that they can't pick it, just in case they wake up," I said calmly, looking straight to her eyes and throw the knife on the trashbin near me.
"it's okay. I'm not going to hurt you," I ask the woman as I'm slowly making my way near her. She's just looking at me with fear in her eyes.
"it's okay you're safe now," I said as I hugged her carefully; she just let me hug her, and then she finally let her tears fall like a river crying out loud and hug me back tightly.
Burying her face to my chest minutes after, I saw three police running to us, so I look around and saw that there's a CCTV camera near us. Guess they saw what happened and immediately run here.
The other two police immediately handcuff the bad guys to make sure they won't escape, and the other police go to us.
When the police were near us, the girl broke the hug and hide to my back and hold my jacket, so I'm facing the officer. Thee police try to talk to her and ask her questions about what happened but won't say anything and tighten her hold to my jacket. It's giving me the signal that she doesn't want to talk about it.
So it gives me no choice to speak to the police. i said what happened to answer some of his questions. I give him my business card and that I would like to file a case about this incident.
"We want to file a case to them for stalking and attempted murder," I said in serious tone and face.
When they leave, I slowly face her making her gradually lose her hold to my jacket; her face is looking at the ground...
