dude whoever he was.

"Haypasia, this isn't right c'mon let's go-"

"N-no wait wait- (Y/N) listen to me at least once I promise you, this is the real deal now!"

You tugged her wrist, attempting to take her away from the incense she had just arranged. You flinched when the woman violently shook your hand off, a sinister frown taking its place on her lips. Hostility began to fill her eyes and you can't help but hold your breath.

"Why won't you listen to me?!" She screamed, you did not return the aggression but simply tried to take a small step toward her, trying to find an opportunity to take her hand once again and deliver her to Tighnari just as you were ordered to do. But each time you'd step closer, she takes a few steps back.

You didn't want her to run away, not in the middle of the forest where the blazing sun directly basked both of you.

The heat might distract you from trying to find her.

"Haypasia listen, just listen ok?" You held your hands up, just chest-level, and gently made your voice soothable for her, "We can talk about this alright? But we have to go back to where Tighnari was."

"Why can't you appreciate the benevolence and might of the god I've shown you?!" She cried out.

"Woah woah chill! Goddamn."

You were taken aback by her outburst. Your eyes caught a glimpse of her taking a step back once again and you wouldn't dare make a mistake.

A sweatdrop began to trickle down from your forehead down to your chin. The heat was getting to you in addition to Hapaysia's hysterical state. Your breathing became unstable.

However, as the momentary pause subsided between both of you, the other woman began to finally regain her normal state as she heavily breathed. You froze. Was it- Was it the right time to finally take action and approach her?

Oh god, you weren't in the mood to run around in a place where humongous trees filled with all sorts of creature resides if Haypasia would run. No, you weren't going to sprint with multiple huge tree roots blocking your path with several vines dangling and blocking your view.

Haypasia stared at you with eyes wide. She seemed taken aback by her own actions as her terrified eyes reluctantly traveled between you and her own trembling hands.

"I... I'm so sorry oh my god I'm so sorry (Y/N). I didn't- I didn't want to do that-"

You finally rushed towards her side, slightly tripping on small rocks but it wasn't much to make you stumble. The scholar was still in distress and it bothered you to see her in such a state. Haypasia simply hopes to make contact with the Irminsul and now a god popped out of nowhere?
