Changes in a return.
TIGHNARI WAS RELIABLE TRULY.
However, he was also a man of multiple harsh remarks if you were stupid enough to take even the most obvious wrong choice. That's exactly why the teacher paced back and forth uttering nothing but ranting about some silly adventurers you know nothing about.
"I've told them multiple times," Tighnari's voice rose and you immediately straightened your back unconsciously, "So many times that those mushrooms, despite looking edible, are NOT edible."
You, on the other hand, sat up straight while leaning a bit, engrossed with his story.
"They really did?"
"Of course they did! What do you expect from men like them?"
It wasn't you though, you just recently arrived to ask for Hapaysia's condition only to see the forest watcher irritatedly mumbling curses as he paced back and forth. Upon seeing you, Tighnari immediately welcomed you and offered tea, preparing the kettle and teacups as well as teabags in a haste manner.
You asked him how his day goes and the man started with a, 'Don't even get me started...' before telling you the entire story.
It wasn't really a bad thing for you, how he'd sarcastically 'praise' them of their stupidity was oddly amusing. You were sure you were going to learn from this one.
"Ehem," He cleared his throat, balled fist covering his mouth, "(Y/n), I'm very sorry about the sudden outburst."
"It's really fine don't worry!" You waved your hands, reassuring the man that there wasn't any problem really.
You were a person who finds creative sarcasm amusing, just as long as it doesn't cross the line then it's all good. In fact, you needed to stifle a chuckle earlier if you didn't want him to snarl at you.
Tighnari simply sighed as he crosses his arms, "Do you perhaps intend to visit Hapaysia?"
You nodded, eager to hear any news about her.
"Unfortunately, she's not here," He grabbed a chair beside you, pulling it towards him before taking a seat with his legs and arms crossed, "But there's no need to worry, she's healthy and moves just as she did before."
Hearing his words made an entire wave of relief crash into you. You leaned back and a relieved sigh escaped your lips, surrendering your entire weight on the chair. You heard a chuckle coming from the other companion.
"It's great that Hapaysia has a friend like you," He leans back on his chair, "I don't think many would travel across the world only to check on their friends."
"It's nothing, seriously," You smiled bashfully, suddenly avoiding his gaze, "And besides, I was already on my way to Sumeru before I decided to stop by and ask about Hapaysia's condition."
