The next day I woke up in the sound of my alarm with the melody 'Tightrope' and I started smiling for the first time in the day.

I got off the bed and I went in the bathroom to take a shower. After I picked up my clothes. It is a simple dress and a shirt over and black high hills. I don't usualyusually wore hills or dresses but sometimes I fill like I need to be more feminine.

I went down stairs and I saw Jannet with her boyfriend on the couch, I just said hi to them and made my way out to go to school.

I was walking as always to school and after about five minutes of walking  a car pulled near me and the window rolled down and then I saw miss Davis looking at me.

"Do you want a ride to school, Erin?" Miss Davis asked.

I looked at her a little bit shocked because  I'd never expected her to give me a ride to  school. Yes, she was beautiful, and yes I liked her a lot, but I just couldn't ask her that. But actually she was asking me so it wasn't my doing.

"Um... sure, but are you sure this won't get you in trouble?"  I asked a little bit worried.

"Yeah, I'm sure, that's why I offered" Miss Davis said with a smirk on her face.

"Ok then"   I said kind of awkward.
I entered her car and put my seat belt on. I was just staring out the window and I felt awkward just because the other day this car almost killed me.

"I'm  sorry for almost hitting you the other day, I was just really late for class and I was speeding like crazy and yeah..."  Miss Davis apologised and I saw on her face a look of sorry I never saw on anyone's.

"It's ok, miss Davis" I said.

"I should be the one being sorry because I wasn't paying attention where I was going" I said. "And after that, because I was staring at you and so on,  miss Davis" I apologised.

"It's ok" she said. "And also call me Jade when we're alone, please, miss Davis is just so formal and also it's kind of odd." She said honestly and without looking at me.

I could tell she was nervous because of that and I could also see  that she was thinking about something really, really deep.

"Ok, Jade " I said with a smirk and she smiled at me.

"Can I ask you something?" I asked without looking at her.

"Yeah, I guess, what is it?" She answered.

"Well, I can tell you are thinking about something, can you tell me what it is?" I asked

"Um..., it's just... nothing, nothing you should be worried about" she said.

"Oh, well, I'm a good listener, believe me and also good at keeping secrets" I said calmly so I can get her to confess.

"Well, I was thinking about what you said in class about your parents and your sexual orientation" she said.

"Oh...well, yeah, what about it?" I asked looking out on the window.

"Well, I was thinking to ask you why you and your parents are not talking anymore, what happened?" Jade asked.

I stood there and thought about it, because it was a closed part of my life. I moved on and I hate my parents for what they did to me.
