We got back in line to where we were originally and i looked around to see if Zach was anywhere near. Unfortunately, he was just standing, leaning on the building opposite us.
"Ok, so you know that boyfriend i had back in America when i was fifteen that cheated on me?"
"Yeah..."
"Well, that's him.
"Wait... so you DATED ZACH HERRON!" she screamed
"YES! Now keep it down!" i said looking around to see everyone, including Zach, looking at us
"Sorry. But that also means he's a cheater and that i like a band that has a no-good dirty rotten cheater in it!"
"Well yes" i giggled "but it also means this is going to be a very awkward concert"
"Oh yeah. Well if you want to leave then we can because i don't want you feeling uncomfortable"
"No it's ok, we paid for these tickets so we are going and also it will only be for an hour or two right?"
"Right. But how did you not recognise him from the pictures i showed you or his voice in the songs and interviews?"
"Well the voice in the songs sounded familiar, but i thought it was just daniel's voice because he was on idol but now that i think about it i never watched idol"
"But what about pictures?"
"Well i didn't really look at the pictures and when i did it would be out of the corner of my eye"
"Oh ok makes sense i guess. But how did he cheat on you?"
"Well, basically everyday after school he would walk me home and that day he asked me to meet him in the music rooms after school and i distinctly remember going up to the door and hearing whispering the first voice was Zach and he said to the girl that she should go because i was going to be there soon and then she said one more kiss and while they were doing that last kiss, i walked in and then i just shouted at him that we were done and ran home crying and then i came here, to Australia"
"You came to Australia because your boyfriend cheated on you?"
"No! I came to Australia because my dad got a job offer. But the thing that hurt me most about him cheating on me was that he was my first love and obviously he didn't care about me and i think i might still have feelings for him" i said looking at the ground, memories flooding back.
"Uhh, you might want to turn around..." Sophie says awkwardly.
I look at her confused for a second then my eyes go wide
"He's right behind me isn't he?"
"Yes i am," Zach says
"What do you want?" i say looking back at the ground, tears starting to build up as the memories from the day he cheated on me come back
"First i want to talk"
"Well that's not gonna happen," i say turning back around
"He puts his hand on my shoulder and i stiffen up. He then turns me around to face him
"Will you at least answer one question?"
"Fine. one question" i say sternly
"Where did you go after you broke up with me?"
"Well first i ran home crying, then i came to Australia because my dad just happened to have gotten a job offer in Australia the day i dumped you," i say before turning back to Sophie
"This is probably i really bad time but could i get your autograph?" Sophie asks quietly
"Uh y-yeah sure"
Sophie hands Zach a shirt and a pen and he signs it before walking away.
"Well, that was awkward," Sophie says looking at me
"Y-yeah it-t was," i say fighting back tears
"Oh, you're about to cry aren't you? Come here you need a hug" she says pulling me into a hug.
We just stood there for a while, i was sobbing into sophies shoulder while she rubbed my back to comfort me. I was a little confused as to why i was crying about a guy i dumped three years ago and the only thing that came to mind was that i still wasn't over him... and to be perfectly honest i don't think i am.
