chapter 5

Jessica's POV (still the same night)

I woke up while feeling the wind blow on my face and i felt Raph's strong arms carrying me.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"To the lair" He responded. I nodded and hid my face into his chest.

"Wake me up when we get there"

"You're staying awake with me, sidekick" i hate when he calls me like that.

"Sure thing, Raphie" i heard his growl and i smirked.

(Time jump)

He dropped me down when we got to the lair and we both went our separate ways, walking slowly so we wouldn't wake up Donnie and Mikey.

When i walked past the dojo i heard a voice i wanted to forget about. "I'm certain things will be back to normal in no time master" Leo.

I quietly ran to Raph's room and knocked on it.

"Wh-"

"Leo's back" i interrupted him. He followed me and we eavesdropped.

"Yes Sensie" Leo said. I saw how splinter gave Leo a hug and Leo hugged back.

"I missed you Leonardo" splinter said in a soft voice.

"I missed you too, father" Leo responded.

"Raphael! Your brother is home." Splinter yelled.

Raph looked at me and i nodded. He walked in the dojo and i went to the living room.

Seconds passed and Raph came back in and took the comic that Donnie had on his face, "hey Leo's back. Better say hello before he leaves again." Raph said while Donnie stood up and hugged Leo.

Mikey woke up and fell off the couch, "is that really you!?" Mikey said while hugging Leo, "I'm not dreaming, am i?"

"No, Mikey, you're not dreaming" Leo responded.

"Oh good. I had nightmares about birthday parties." Leo and Donnie laughed at what Mikey said.

I walked up to my room until i felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked back at who it was and it was no other than the fearless leader. Leonardo.

"Hey" He said with a nervous smile. I slapped him and he looked at me while rubbing his cheek.

"That was for not telling me" i said. I then hugged him and he hugged back, "this is a welcoming hug" i let go from the hug and entered my room, leaving Leo outside.
