Nalu The Hard Confession

* in the guild with Lucy and Happy and Natsu *

Lucy: hey Natsu is everything okay with you have been really quiet the last few days is everything okay

Natsu: yeah everything is just fine I just feel tired is all

Happy: phphph hey Lucy why don't you look after him if you are so worried about him

Lucy: yeah right and let you crash at my place forget it you freeloading cat I know that you only want to eat my food

Happy: that was mean Lucy

Natsu: don't worry about me Lucy I will be just fine after some rest I will see you later * gets up from the table and starts to walk out the guild *

Lucy : is he going to be fine I know that Natsu is tough but he looks really down * looking at him as he walks away with a worried look on her face *

Mira: Lucy can I talk to you for a second

Lucy: sure what is it Mira

Mira: Lucy I know that you and Natsu are best friends but I think you need to be a little more pushy like you saw how white he was and he would not listen to anyone but you so can you please look after him

Lucy: *thinks about what she said * I will try what I can to make him feel better

Mira: thank you Lucy I know that you can get through to him to open up if anything is bothering him or wrong with him

Lucy: yeah I guess your right Erza would try to beat it out of him what is bothering him and Gray well we know how would that go

Mira: this is why you are the best person to do it

Lucy: okay then I will try to talk to him tomorrow * walks out of the guild and back to her apartment because it was getting late *

* with Natsu in his house *

Natsu: *looking at a star shaped ring as he is laying in his hammock * ( why is it so hard to tell her how I feel about her the longer I keep going on like this the more possible it may become that she will find someone and I will never be able to tell her how I feel about her. I'm really scared to confess to her what if she doesn't feel the same way about me as I do about her or that I tell her how I feel but it will ruin our friendship. )

Happy: hey natsu are you feeling any better now

Natsu:* hides the ring before he can see it * yeah I'm feeling better now I just need a good sleep to feel complete better we should go to sleep

Happy: aye sir

* at Lucy's apartment in the meantime *

Lucy: I wonder why is he acting like this is he sick well that's something that haven't happened before but I still worry about him* looks at a picture of the team * he always was the one with the biggest and brightest smile in the team I don't want him to stop smiling like he did before I need to talk to him and figure out what is bothering him.

* she goes to bed and falls asleep *

* in the morning twilight Natsu breaks into Lucy's apartment with our waking her up *

Natsu: * gently moves a piece of Lucy's hair that was covering her face * ( you are just so beautiful and I want to tell you this with my own words but I'm scared I would lose you)  * goes out the window and leaves a letter behind with the right in it *

* a few minutes later Lucy wakes up and starts to get ready to go and talk to Natsu but while she was getting ready she noticed the letter*

Lucy: how did this get here * she opens it and the ring falls on the table * huh a ring and a letter who could have brought it here
* she start to read the letter *

Lucy: *her heart is beating really fast and she is blushing like crazy * I have a secret lover * she puts the ring on * I wounder who is this mysterious person that sent me this letter and ring but I know one thing for sure he has a way with words * she sits down and reads the letter a few more times *

* with Natsu at the guild *

Natsu: hey Mira have you seen Lucy I wanted to ask her if she wanted to go on a job with me

Happy: yeah we need to get a big job done because we don't have much money for fish

Natsu: that's because you keep spending it on fish and eating it right away

Happy: I can't help it

Mira: no not yet but she should come by soon

Lucy: * walks into the guild with a big bright smile * good morning everyone

Everyone: good morning Lucy

Natsu: perfect timing Lucy do you want to go on a job with me and Happy

Lucy: yeah sure let's do it I need to get started on getting next month rent ready anyways

Natsu: great so what job do you want to take

Lucy: let's see * looks at the request board* how about this one we just have to keep some nobles house safe for a few days that doesn't sound to hard and we get payed really well

Natsu: sounds good to me * sees that Lucy is wearing the ring he left as she takes the request from the board*

Lucy: we will take this job Mira

Mira: alright then you need to take the train and go two stops and walk a few hours to get to where you will reserve more details about the job good luck on your mission

Lucy: thanks Mira

Natsu: do you want to stop at your place to get some things for the job Lucy

Lucy: yeah I need to pack a few things and I will see you two on the train station soon

Natsu: okay then we will see there

Happy: let's go Natsu and get something to eat before we go on the job

Natsu: okay * they go out of the guild *

Lucy: *looking at her ring wondering who is the one that sent her the letter * I better get going as well see you when we get back

Mira: okay Lucy

Lucy: *goes home and packs a few things she will need and she puts the mystery letter in her bag as well *
