It all started one day when beautiful baby boy narwhal named Paco was born. He small for his kind and was unbelievably fat. His small little horn just poked through the surface of his skin. His little flippers waved around wildly in the water, struggling to swim. His mother directed him to swim onto her back. Clumsily, he flailed his flippers slowly making progress as he approached his mother. Finally he rested on top of the large surface of her back. When his mother was sure he was secure, she took of with the rest of the clan.

It was a smooth ride for Paco as his mother carried him through the Southern Ocean. Though he was scared not knowin where they were going, or what was out there in the big, blue, ocean, he knew he would be safe as long as he had his mother. Since Paco was so new to the world, he so curious to see all the sea life the ocean held. A bright yellow fish caught his eye. He stared at it the whole time the clan passed. He thought it so beautiful, perhaps the most stunning thing he has seen in his whole life. Until they reached the coral reef.

Bright greens, blues, yellows, and oranges filled Paco's world. Fish even more beautiful than the yellow swam left and right all around. He was so dazzled and amazed, that he wondered how anything bad or scary could happen here?
