"Look, I don't want to read this." She protested, tossing the book on the coffee table, "I know I have a limited reading skill but I'm not a complete dumbass!"

"Rebecca, please, at least read the first page?" He asked, passing the book back to her, "You asked for a tutor, well you have one so please just comply."

Rebecca sighed, "Look, Mr. Arlert,"

"You can call me Armin in sessions." Armin interrupted.

"Armin, I'm not reading Dr. Seuss! Give me something more like..." Rebecca began to think through hand gestures.

"Like?" Armin repeated, edging her to continue her statement.

Rebecca sighed again, irritation being evident. She took a pencil and a sheet of printing paper from the stack that Armin had left on the table and wrote M-A-T-U-E-R in big, sloppy letters. Armin tilted his head, trying to decipher the incorrectly spelled word. "Mature?" He sounded aloud.

"Mature!" Rebecca echoed, "Something more mature." She repeated, proud to say a word, now cataloged in her mental vocabulary list, smiling to herself.

Armin chuckled, taking the pencil and paper, scribbling M-A-T-U-R-E neatly underneath. "Mature." He read aloud, passing the paper back to the girl, reclined in her seat.

She smirked, taking the paper, folding it and stuffing it into her shirt, "I was close"

Armin smiled, picking up his cup and going to the kitchen to empty it. "Could you open the vocabulary book? Page 15, please?" He called as Rebecca did as she was asked. Armin returned, sitting beside her with a book in his hand: The Fault in Our Stars the cover read in white letters. "I want you to try and make a sentence with three out of six of the words in the word bank."

Rebecca glanced over the six words, processing what they looked like, and then trying to sound one out: "K-kon... Vuh... Loot? Looted?"

Armin nodded, pointing to the definition elsewhere on the page. Rebecca read it aloud before paraphrasing it: "So it's like when something's confused then it gets confused even more. Right?"

"Sort of, yes." Armin agreed, "Can you construct a sentence with it?"

"Of course, I can!" Rebecca boasted. She went quiet before actually thinking of what to say.

"Waiting." Armin said, folding his hands in his lap.

"Uh..." Rebecca stuttered, "Movies tend to be convoluted?"

"How so?"

Rebecca crossed her arms over her chest "There's your sentence! Don't ask for more, Armin!"

"Rebecca, please! How do I know that you understand the term without displaying it in a sentence?!"

"Because I just rephrased the definition!" Rebecca shouted back.

Armin sighed, brushing his blonde hair from his face. "Maybe we should take a break."

"Whatever the hell makes you feel better, professor..." Rebecca slurred, anchoring her hands behind her head, closing her eyes, and crossing her legs at the ankle.

Armin sighed, "At least, try to read this book. I'm going to go finish up some things for my job, okay?" He passed The Fault in Our Stars to her, resting it on her leg, "I'll be back in twenty to thirty minutes." He said before standing to go upstairs.

Just as his room door shut, there was a knock at the front door. "Armin, it's me." A male voice said from outside, not sounding very masculine at all. Rebecca was still in the small lounged position on the chair she never moved from. The three knocks sounded again, "Armin?" he repeated. Rebecca grunted, disturbed from her attempt to sleep. She stood and walked over to the door. "Who is it!" She shouted.

"Uh, is Armin home?" the voice asked.

"Who's askin'?" Rebecca shouted back.

Um, Eren?" He said timidly.

"Yo, Armin, you know a guy named Eren? If not, I can surely take care of 'em for ya." Rebecca shouted to Armin.

He ran out of his room, in only pants and house shoes, yelling over the banister. "Yea, but he's not supposed to come until later!" He shouted, shuffling down the stairs, opening the door. "Eren, you're early!"

A tall brunette with forest green eyes stood before Armin's short frame, dressed in a hoodie, jeans, and converses. "You said four, right?"

Armin ran a flustered hand through his hair, "It can't be four o'clock that quick. It was just three thirty five minutes ago!" He whined. Eren shook his head, glancing at his watch, "It's four fifteen, according to my watch."

Armin sighed, "Well, uhm... just wait in the living room. I'll only be a little, okay? Just let me change my clothes."

Eren nodded, stepping inside and following Rebecca back to the living room. He sat across from her, looking at the books and blank paper spread across the table while waiting for Armin to return.

Armin trotted up the steps and into his room, closing and locking the door behind him. "So, you didn't tell him yet?" A deep voice bellowed from behind him.

Armin shuddered in slight fear, "Look, I meant to but I got a little tongue tied, I swear!"

"Armin, when are you going to stop hiding me? Hiding us?" A shorter, black-haired man stood from Armin's bed.

"Levi..." Armin sighed, recollecting his thoughts, "I'm sorry. I'll tell him later, when we're out. Okay?"

"Okay." Levi said, walking over to Armin. Levi was only but two inches shorter than Armin making it a lot easier to steal a kiss. "Please, make sure you do, Armin. I don't want to have to punish you later, okay?"

Armin nodded, a light blush tainting his cheeks as he began to change his clothes. "Levi," he said when he had finished changing, gesturing for him to come and embrace him as he did. "I love you, okay?"

Levi smirked, "I love you too, Armin." he said back before Armin kissed his forehead.

"I'll be back, later." Armin said in near whispers, opening the door to his room and closing it behind him. Seeing Eren at the bottom of the steps waiting stunned him; his eyes went wide and his face flushed red.

"You ready, Armin?" Eren asked, arms folded over his chest.

"Heh, yea. Let's go, shall we?" Armin said, following Eren out of the door, catching Levi's death glare from his bedroom door.

Author's Note: After writing this, I realized how much I like the plot so I may or may not create a book out of this. If not, then it will be incorperated into my coming fanfic (never wrote a fanfic before).
