I'm the type of girl that doesn't really talk much to people, they consider me as the type of girl that doesn't really get asked to dances. Although, when I'm with my friends, I'm a whole different person. My name is Nicole Elaine Thompson, and I am just your typical teenage, school girl. I never thought that I would ever like someone, not at all someone I had never even met. I'm that girl who's good in school and is someone that doesn't get in trouble often. I guess you would call me a goody goody, or for short, like the kids at school, call me GG. I don't really like the name but it's what I am.
Now you're probably wondering why I said I ended up liking someone I've never met, I said that because it was true and it all happened about two months ago at the park. The only thing I know about him is his name. His name is Evan Marcus Peyton, I found that out while I was walking at the park, well more like falling at the park. Well before I get into any detail about what happened I should begin where it all started. . .
"I love you and I know we just met, but I feel like I've known you my whole life, I will never let you go I want to be with you forever," She said with passion in her voice.
"I feel the same way I want to be with you forever too, I will love you forever and I will hold on to you, forever,"He said with a sparkle in his eyes.
They both leaned in for a kiss and their lips connected. As the picture went dark the screen read in big letters THE END. As the credits started to run up the screen I grabbed the remote and turned off the TV.
Like that would ever happen in real life, I thought sarcastically to myself.
I was getting a little bored so I decided to go to my friend Faiths' house. I got my phone off the couch and texted Faith that I was coming over. She told me that our friend Gabby was there too. I started to walk over to her house when I was stopped by a strange feeling that someone or something was staring at me from behind. I quickly turned around only to find that there was a dog sitting right behind me. It was a poodle, but it had to be somebody's because when I bent down to pet it, it had a collar that said Hailey on it. I stood up to see if anyone was there to claim their dog but there was no one. When I looked back down the poodle was gone, "Well that was weird."
I continued my walk to Faiths'. Once I finally reached her house, the door was already open, so I just walked in.
"Hey," she greeted me while still sitting on her couch.
Gabby on the other hand was sitting on the floor texting her thumbs off, I wondered who she was texting until my phone started to beep like crazy.
"Ahem," I cleared my throat.
Gabby's head shot up quickly and she turned straight to me. "Oh sorry I didn't hear you come in," She said in a laughing tone of voice
"It's okay," I said, "So what are y'all doing?"
Gabby didn't answer until after she was done texting, "Well, Faith is listening to music and I'm texting my friend Jasmine.""Okay I'm just gonna sit on the couch with Faith." Of course Gabby didn't answer me, because she just waved her hand in the air like she was saying okay. I didn't care, I just threw myself on the couch next to Faith. I tried asking her what she was listening too but she couldn't hear me, so I pulled the ear bud out of her ear and asked her.
"Hey," She greeted with a small grin.
"What are you listening too?" I asked for the second time.
"I'm listening to Sleeping With Sirens," She told me. She had been wanting me to listen to that band for a while but I never get the time to do it.
"Before you put your ear bud back in your ear, can I tell you something," I questioned with an eager tone of voice.
"Sure," Faith raised an eyebrow at me."Well something weird happened outside before I got here, there was a dog sitting behind me. I looked up for like a second and when I bent back down the dog was gone."
"Wow that is weird, and there was no one there, right?"
"Yeah," I said a little louder then I expected it to come out.
"Well there is a boy that lives down the street from me and he has a dog, but I never got around to knowing his name. Maybe it's his."
"Mabey," I said a little annoyed that she didn't know. Faith turned off her phone, knowing that it wouldn't do any good if she left it on.
"Well if it is his, I guess he took it because it is nowhere to be found," Gabby said looking out almost every window in the house.
"Hey, is it okay if I sleep over at your house tonight," I asked Faith eagerly.
"Well I guess it's fine because Gabby is already sleeping over, so I don't think my mom will mind."
Later at night
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@"Wanna go to sonic to get some food?" Faith asked.
"Yeah sure I'm starving," Gabby said.
They both looked straight at me looking for my answer but I was lost in my thoughts.
"Thinking about what happened today?" Faith said with a weird tone in her voice.
"What?" I said being pulled out of my thoughts.
She huffs out a breath, "I said thinking about what happened today?"
"Oh, well I guess a little," I said in a confessing tone.
"I mean wouldn't you, if you saw the cutest dog just sitting behind you and then when you look back down it's gone. Also you made it worse by telling me that there is a boy in the neighborhood who has a dog too," I try reasoning with her.
"Oh, well then I guess it's fine that you are thinking about it. . . but Nicole you don't even know if that was his dog or what he looks like," She argues.
"Still Faith, I want to know, it's not bad to think about it."
"While y'all are having your 'girl talk' my stomach is growling like crazy and I think its about to bite."
"Sorry Gabby, we can go now."
"Thanks Nicole, so Faith, are you paying?" Gabby says with a sly smile on her face.
"No, buy your own food! You have money Gabby!"
"Well I'm not hungry anymore," Gabby says with a sassy tone.
I almost groan at her stubbornness, "Oh my gosh, Gabby."
"What Nicole?" She says in fake innocence.
"At least she's driving us," I say.
"Fine then, I'll eat, but something that's not expensive," Gabby says sassily.
Faith rolls her eyes, "Cheap as-"
"Faith!" I hiss. She chuckles and ruffles my hair. I roll my eyes and pat it down.
"Well is everyone ready to go?" She jingles the car keys in her fingers.
"Yup," I said in a cheerful voice.
"Sure," Gabby said in a kind of annoyed voice.
"Faith can we talk about this boy/dog thing when we get back?" I ask.
"Sure," She said as she let out a breath.
"Well let's go!" Gabby practically yelled.
