Wake up. Wake up. WAKE UP!

What? Oh sorry Faith, is it morning already?

Yeah and you were sleeping almost the whole day, Gabby said sarcastically.

Whatever, what time is it?

Its about 10:30, Faith answered while looking at the clock.

Okay then that gives us about 5 minutes to get downstairs, I informed them while thinking in my head.

Get downstairs for what?, they both questioned.

For breakfast, duh. Remember Faith your mom makes waffles and bacon at about 10:40 every Saturday.

ITS SATURDAY!, Gabby yelled so the whole world could her. Why am I up?

How do you know so much about my house and family when I barely do?

To be honest, I really don't know. Come on let's go down stairs I can already smell the bacon.

When we went down stairs me and Gabby both greeted her mom except for Faith. I nudged her with my elbow trying to signal her to say something to her mom, but it didn't work.

OW! What was that for?

I gave her another signal with a look but still that failed too, she just looked at me like I was crazy so I decided to just whisper what I was trying to say to her.

(Whispering) Say good morning to your mom.

Fine. Morning mom, Faith told her in a really annoyed voice.

Really, I said kind of annoyed myself.

Once we sat down at the table to eat I saw something really strange it was a picture of the dog -Hailey- I saw yesterday. It was on a small poster that read....
Lost dog. If found please call (210) 701-9654

Oh my gosh thats the dog I saw yesterday! Faith where did your mom get this!?

Umm she said it got sent to every house, so I guess it went to your house too.

Well we need to go look for Hailey because someone out there is looking for their dog and we should help.

Fine but let me finish my breakfast or else I'll be hungry the whole time, Gabby said in a complaining voice.

Okay but hurry we need to start look fast, I told her with worry in my voice. I don't even know why I'm worried, it's not even my dog.

Where should we start looking, Faith asked. Cause the poster doesn't say where she was last seen. Wait Nicole where did you say you saw Hailey?

Oh, I saw her down the street but I don't see how that can help us.

Maby she went either further down the street or up the street. We can buddy up and split to look. Nicole you and I can be buddies.

Hey what about me, who's my buddy! Gabby yelled at us.

Well umm I don't know I didn't think of that, I mean do you need a buddy? Faith questioned with a worried voice.

Na it's fine I can go alone I mean we're just looking for a dog right Nicole?

Yeah do you need a flyer so you can see what the dog Hailey looks like? I already have one for me and Faith and you might want one so you don't get the wrong dog.

Okay I'll take one but only because you are giving me one I don't need one but this is for your sake I just wanted to make that clear,Gabby said with wide eyes.

Sure, just take the the flyer. I gave Gabby the flyer while laughing and then me and Faith opened the door and left.

Later in the day

Faith's POV:

So me and Nicole have been walking around the neighborhood for what feels like forever and I am starting to get annoyed and I'm so hungry, but she won't stop. To be honest I'm not so sure why finding this dog is so important to her we don't even know who the owner is.

Hey Nicole I just wanted to know something and please just let me talk. I just wanted to know why finding this dog is so important to you, I mean you only saw this dog once and you've never seen the owner so please just tell me why it's so important.

Well I really honestly don't know why I want to find the dog, I mean... I just..... I ummm. I don't know!

As tears started to form in her eyes Nicole turned abruptly and ran away from me. I chased after her but I was still behind her. I got closer and closer once I got close enough to reach her pulled her back. I tightly held her arm so she couldn't get away. Nicole tried her hardest, but failed. She was still crying and I didn't know why. I was determined to find out what was going on with her.
