The numbers flashed on my screen when I tapped my phone to check if I had any unread notifications. I figured, since I had around 45 minutes until I had to grab Shinso, I'd mess around with the paints I stored in my closet that I promised myself I'd use eventually.
I opened up the closet doors and scanned the small space. For someone who moved in so recently, my closet sure was messy. Scattered clothes, random homework pages, and a few crumbs here and there. I stared at the scene dumbfounded.

Eventually, I mustered up the courage to scavenge through the closet and eventually found the collection of paints I was searching for.

"Now, what the hell am I gonna paint?" I thought out loud. All of a sudden, a faint indigo color flashed through my mind.
Shinso.
My mind circled with the small amount of memories I shared with him, the colors he wore, and the fluffiness of his hair. My heart fluttered and my stomach churned.
"[Y/N]! Calm down! Holy shit!" I facepalmed yourself before I slammed my head onto my desk. Suddenly, I got an idea.

My hand glided along the small canvas as I painted strokes of indigo and magenta. After allowing it to dry, I splashed the canvas with some white, gray, and some other shades of purple.

My tiny masterpiece was complete.

It was everything that reminded me of Shinso

It was everything that reminded me of Shinso. His signature hair color. The volume and softness of his messy hair. The amount of times I'd caught myself staring up at the bright moon in the night sky just thinking about him. I was head over heels for this boy and I didn't know why.

I trotted over to the boy's door and knocked aggressively.
"SHINSO!" I yelled, barely able to contain my excitement. He opened the door and sighed.
"You don't have to be so loud, [Y/N]." I l softened up and fiddled with my hands behind my back.
"Sorry! I'm just excited!" Shinso glanced towards my back to where my hands were and became curious. I noticed his look and pulled the mini painting out from behind. "Oh, yeah, I made this for you!" He grabbed the painting softly.

"If you don't like it that's fine!" I murmured. "I wouldn't blame you..." I felt my self-doubt creep up my spine until his minty breath hit my face.
"I love it." he replied. He had the softest, most innocent smile plastered across his face. "No ones ever made me anything before."
I hugged him tight and only spoke after a few seconds passed.
"I'm so glad!" I felt a wave of relief flow through me. "Now, let's go meet up with the others! We're gonna have the best time ever!"
