Poem 1
Falling,
Drifting away out of sight
increasingly quickly,
like the darkening sky
in the fall
Poem 2
Falling,
Deeper into the darkness,
Into a bottomless pit of despair,
Into a neverending torrent of loneliness,
Damaged almost beyond repair.
Poem 3
Used, then discarded as always,
Left out in the cold all alone.
Tears soon will stop falling,
As my heart turns into stone.
Poem 4 (this is probably the one I like the most)
I thought I could trust you,
I thought that you cared,
I listened so closely,
To all that you shared.
But when it was my turn
to share how I feel,
I was sad to discover
our friendship not real.
