Malia suddenly bursted into tears. ''I don't have a home anymore, I don't know what to do Allison. It hurts so much, please make it stop''

''I know what it feels like to be lost, don't lose hope.'' Allison started tearing up as well.

''I don't think you get it Allison, I'm a werecoyote, I don't have a pack. I'm supposed to be a normal 17 year old girl having fun with her friends, going to school, but i'm constantly on the run, in the forest.''

With a sympathetic smile, the huntress said in a gentle voice: ''You can stay in my house, for as long as you need. I promise you'll be safe.''

''You'd do that for me?''

''Of course Malia, you deserve to live a normal life, just like everyone else.'' she said, taking her hand and lifting her up. ''Let's go. My house isn't too far from here.''

It was a quick ten minute walk, and it was about 11 pm, so it was dark. Malia gripped Allison's hand tightly. Constantly looking back to see if nobody was watching them.

''Hey, don't worry about it okay? We're gonna be fine'',  she reassured Malia.
