Chapter 2 -Camp love

    

         The party was so excited! They all hopped inside of Hop's truck to go to the cabin. In the cabin they all had a room, Joyce and Hop would share. They laughed and talked  the whole car ride as Joyce slept and Hop groaned.

        When they got their everyone grabbed their bags and ran inside. "It's so big!" Exclaimed Max as Lucas put his arm around her. They all laughed and claimed their rooms. El sat next to Mike as they held hands outside on near the lake. She was nervous about swimming. "I won't let anything happen El, trust me," Mike said squeezing her hand.

         She nodded and took a deep breath. They got in and she smiled. Max splashed Lucas and Will. "I'll kill you I swear to god!" Lucas said to Will after he splashed him. El and Mike joined them shortly. "Let's play chicken!" Lucas yelled. "Chicken?" Asked El.

           "Yeah it's when you get on your partner's shoulders and you have to try and knock the other pair down basically," Mike said. She smiled, "ok, I'm in". She got on Mike's shoulders. Mike held onto her thighs and Max and Lucas did the same. "We'll be the judges since Henderson here can't even lift up a rock," Will laughed.

       Max pushed El slightly with a pool noodle. She almost fell. She hit Max and it went on for what felt like years. Enjoyable years. Max finally fell and El cheered. She got down and hugged Mike. "We win!" Mike and El chanted. Mike kissed El's lips softly and the others groaned. "Go swap spit with her somewhere else lover boy," Dustin joked.

      Mike mimicked him and they started splashing each other. "Kids! Time to come inside!" Joyce yelled. They nodded and groaned. El grabbed her towel and shared it with Mike. He put his arm around her waist. "I'm gonna get changed, I'll see you tomorrow," she said smiling and blushing. He smiled and kissed her lips gently. "See you."

He left her and went to his room. She went to hers and jumped on the bed. It wasn't as comfortable as hers back at the cabin, but she wasn't complaining. Her room had a window in it. The window gave her a beautiful view of the lake. She sat facing the window after changing into her pajamas. She smiled and got under the covers.

Mike was still blushing even after El left. He loved her more then words could explain. He hopped off his bed and tip toed to El's room. He knocked lightly before El said "come in!" She pulled him inside. His hair was messy, it was all over his face.

       They stood in the middle of the room in  complete silence , but it was comforting. She brought her small and soft hand to his face. He held her other one. After staring in each others eyes , admiring every little thing about each other.

        El broke the silence saying, "cuddle with me?" He smiled. "Of course." El jumped on the bed and Mike got on after her. He laid down his arm under her and she put her head in his arm. It took her two minutes before she fell asleep. Mike admired her sleeping. Every time she took a breath her hair flew a little bit.

      "I love you."
