Possessiveness is the spawn of fear. He fears losing you. To her, to them, to anyone else.

Outside Y/n's apartment, the (h/c) boy found himself participating in a staring contest between Akihiko and himself. Clearing his throat awkwardly, Y/n tugged at his new accessory. An accessory that was wrapped securely around Y/n's throat and bonus? It covered his hickey-laced neck and it was his favorite color.
Yes. Y/n's mystery new item was a scarf. However, the way Akihiko was glaring at it made it out to be some sort of great offense. Like Y/n had tattooed a swastika on his neck or something to cover up the hickeys instead of a nice, demure (f/c) scarf.
"What?" Y/n grouched, uncomfortably readjusting the strap of his bookbag.
"You do not look good with a scarf," Akihiko eventually muttered, petulant.
Y/n scoffed and shook his head, "I'm not taking your opinion into consideration, Akihiko. You'd say the best accessory I could own is your hickeys all over me."
"It wouldn't be an ingenuine compliment," the dark-haired boy cajoled.
Merely snorting at the boy's response, Y/n locked his apartment and headed down the stairs. Officer Ito had been here earlier and Y/n was told this was the last day the police were patrolling his house. The (h/c) boy understood of course; the police had limited resources and there was no immediate danger posed to Y/n anymore but...
But nothing.
Y/n sighed and walked to school with Akihiko breathing down his neck.
After class, Y/n found himself wandering the halls by the library. He stopped by one of the indoor windows and stared at the long line PCs on the back table. Students occupied two of them but most were left open and available.
He still thought about his plan. Obviously, Y/n himself had no idea what to do when you had a psycho-murdering best friend so maybe... strangers online did? (Did that sound as bad to you as it did for all of us?) Yes, it was a terrible plan but it was something.
Just as Y/n was about to continue on his way, his eyes zeroed in on a signup sheet inside the library's walls, barely a few feet away from Y/n's head.
"In Need of Tutoring?" read curly green letters. A short list of hand-written names was just below it.
Y/n hesitated for only a mere second before he was catching the library door and jogging inside. He took out his own pen and scribbled his name on the first open space.
Thursday, Y/n silently chanted. He did not want to forget. Nodding once to himself for motivation, Y/n turned on his heel and exited the library.
Only to abruptly receive a heart attack.
"Oo-oh God," the (h/c) boy gasped, hand clutching his chest as Akihiko appeared right there, behind the door as it shut. "Hey stranger," Y/n greeted in an exasperated tone.
Akihiko glanced from Y/n to the library. There was a question in his eyes but one did not ask.
"I have practice today —"
"Okay, bye. I'll walk home alone," Y/n said way too quickly.
Akihiko's eyes narrowed, "— and I want you to come." The other boy was practically gritting his teeth.
...Y/n coughed. "Right. Yeah sure."
So, Y/n followed Akihiko to the gym, making commentary all the while. The (h/c) boy however did not let it slip he had signed up for a tutor. Akihiko, that possessive a-hole, would probably kill whoever was picked to be Y/n's tutor.
