It was early the next morning and Maya woke up.
She finally did get used to New York's huge time difference from Paris which was actually like six hours which was very nice.
New York was actually also a few degrees colder than Paris which also took time to adjust to.
Obviously she now was very excited to get everything else done with what had to get done but first she had to face a Skype call from her father.
Maya sighs as she stands up from her bed and turned her computer on.

"Morning, Dad. How's it going?" Maya asked.
"Morning? Maya it is like one-thirty," Shawn said.
"Well, technically it's... Only seven-thirty. Six hour difference, remember?" Maya asked.
"How's it going at the bakery?" Shawn asked.
"I don't know, I got a new job which I am starting tomorrow at. I got a position at a photography studio in Greenwich Village. I'm pretty excited to get it going," Maya said as she saw her mom and Raven.
"Hi Mom. How are you doing?" Maya asked.

"I'm good. Say hello Raven," Katy said and Maya waved to the eight month baby.
"Hey, Ravvie. How is she doing now, Mom? Still crying a lot?" Maya asked.
"No, not at all. This last week she has been behaving herself very good. Heard you got a new job. Congratulations," Katy said.
"Thank you," Maya said.
"Is that the new apartment?" Shawn asked.
"Yeah, I'll send photos later today for you guys. It's going really good with me," Maya said.
"So no signs of you coming home?" Shawn asked.
"I have to go," Maya said trying to avoid the question.
"See you later, Baby Girl."
